Tideborn's Inital Wings.

I'm not totally sure what PWI was going for when they made the tideborn's inital wings, the green one's for uninformed. I've heard they were supposed to resemble gills to fit with the whole "fish people" theme, but seriously, they're failure on a biblical level. They look like damned pixie wings, ugly as sin pixie wings. Would it kill PWI to maybe change the look of them to something else? I mean..anything else would work really. *removed* Really, if PWI is out of idea's I'll gladly draw/photoshop something. I'm not asking for another set of wings to be thrown in the CS for some ungodly amount of gold, I'm asking for a replacement of the stock wings for tideborn...because I like to think I'm an uber-powered Psychic from an atlantean race, not a flying fish-pixie.

    Definitly NO , Tideborns got unique quests, can transform into fish form, and another good stuff.
    Each racce have pros and cons:
    The only racces who can have wings on lvl 1 are the winged elfs
    and if you are going to put on lvl 1 to tideborns wings the tideborns gotta be called winged tideborns LOL
    My PWI Oppinion:
    Graphics > 10
    Gameplay > 9.3
    Sound & Music > 7.9
    Host > 10
    Originality > 8
    Total > 9.4 b:victory

    hes just saying the wings you get at lv30 as a tideborn look terrible and should be re-designed.
    I agree, they look like flapping translucent squares :S

    agreed. i mean, they were already going fish-themed for everything else tideborn, and pointy-spikey for all of raging tides city --- would it have killed their graphics teams to have taken a look at the fins of some ray-finned fishes and repurpose some of that for wings?

    the "solemn feathers" cash shop wings kindof come close to what i have in mind, here. more like that, please.

    True, I look like Tinker with those wings, they has nothing to do with the rest of the tideborn's look so plz GMs change it.

    Okay i've seen the wings your talking about and yes i agree with you on this. But they are better than what they could have done for areocraft for the tideborn. They could have done flying surfboards lmao

    Give the avatar (i forget the creature name) & stingray aerocraft to tideborn
    especially the avatar aerocraft since TB looks like blue people from avatar
    Then untamed can have TB flap wing b:cute

    I definitly think that they need to be changed. I just recently started playing and was captivated by the tideborn, now i regret choosing it as my character race. Probably going to create a character from a different race now!b:angryb:cry

    Aren't these wings the only way a tideborn could fly without spending real money?
    Would it look good if they made similar stuff (I don't know how they are called) that are in place of the ears appear on their back (not as big as wings, I don't know how their wings look like, but to make them too small to be wings), water surrounds them like when they are resting and used the swimming animation for moving trough the air?

    There are several threads on this issue already and it keeps comming back up ,including my own .

    The wings of the tideborns make no sense.Its tru there ar manny aerocrafts suitable for the tideborn.

    Lets have a look on the lobster mount or the aerofish mount there is even a gorgious fish flying around al suittable for Tideborns and are a hell of a lot more origenal then the elfish wings right now.

    Make the Pink wings from the cashshop a standard for the tideborns wich they will receive On there 30 lvl .

    I agree with others that those wings are the only wings that actually do look like fins.
    I mean come on look at the wings from the elves the flying mount from the untamed ,you can not compare those little green elfish things even with the rest of the races.

    You at least should start with the pink wings.Then it wil be in the same leaque as the rest of the classes.

    And make a good flying mount for crying out lout .The theme is now given away to the untamed ,and they can use all already .

    I have a veno myself so please dont tell me im jealous of it cuz im not .

    Tideborns are just unfair in treatment when it should be the same.

    U still can make me a shell pulled by seehorses for the tideborn as a special ,make it a choice between really good fins and the craft let them be able to use both

    And make sure people can return in there old ridicules wings for the new ones

    They paid enough for them so make something more apropiate for it.

    well i liek the starter wings for tideborns. but maybe thats because i ALWAYS have the choice of using higher wings im not stuck with them. my psychic and my assasin both use the starter wings but then they are alts so its not a problem and when i need to be faster i faster i can always borrow

    Hope earthguard won't face the same fate as tideborn.
    But there a chance for total changes since the engine is going to be updated (same as FW engine) so revamp of current class model and maybe . . also their aerocraft . . b:victory
    also lots new feature like guild bases, diplomacy between faction, underground area
    (still few info on underground area)

    I agree with you guys I mean why do Wing Elf classes have better wings when they start off yet Tide Borns wings are really ugly!!! I really want them to change them at least the design it looks like **** and they like didn't care much or put afford to it...I was looking forward getting my wings but then I was not...I do not want to buy gold just to get better wings this is serious...b:angry

    This actually worked on me though I had already wanted CS wings anyway.

    Overall I still find it rather odd over all but at least the Virtuous Truth wings look pretty cool and are at least noticably different than elf wings
