Archer Fail or not

Too many people have too many opinions. just wanted to find out if archers are any good at all.

Assuming both archers and other classes are being played by a skilled player and that they have the necessary skills / Armour / weapons. What is your opinion on the archer as a class compared to the others ?

Please answer the following questions as Good / FAIL or Inconclusive (G/F/I)
If possible please state the reasons for your answers / comments

    i realy like my archer and they do very good pve and pvp and a fun class b:victory

    Archer has PvE relatively easy once you get past the first few levels and get used to them.

    Archer PvP.... well... archers are at a disadvantage against pretty much every other class in 1v1 PvP at high levels. In group PvP, on the other hand, archers are devastatingly good.

    agree with most of this, tho i think archers can take people with around same gear without much problem (long as we can atack first)

    Cept barbs....

    Any other class its a fairly even match.

    barbs are fun to fight, once spent like 20 minutes fighting a barb with 14-17k hp inside SP b:chuckle

    well i once saw a vid on youtube a lev 70 odd barb vs a lev70 odd archer. And the archer totally creamed him. Guess the barb was a bit of a noob he was trying to get to the arch but the arch kept freezing em b:laugh.

    Then the barb gets to a higher level so that he can wear misties and equips a charm.

    Anything pre 9x Archers **** ****. After that... not so much.
