So I had a look at flowing stardust a.k.a warsoul.
Flowing Stardust
Grade 16
Physical attack: 1211-2248
Str required: 52
Dex required: 287
Level Required: 80
Dexterity +8~9
Dexterity +8~9
Critical Hit Rate +2%
Critical Hit Rate +2%
Distract: Has a chance to decrease opponent's magic defence.
Atk. Level +50
The base of this bow is 1211-2248, 46-86 less than rank9 at 1257-2334.
The proc on warsoul is nice (could be better), but if the chances of it proc'ing is like 5% then it's pretty unreliable for killing those HAs. Comparing that to rank9 with advanced soul shatter which I speculate to be a 10% proc, would definitely bring this bow on top.
Rank9 also has -0.1s interval and some trivial hp compared to warsoul's +7-8dex advantage and it's 4% crit along with +20atk level.
However, since there is rank9 set bonuses, this +20atk bonus the warsoul has over rank9 is not so much impressive any more.
Rank9 is much more ridiculous compared to warsoul in my opinion. What are your opinions on this?

Belt: 3 badges, 32 G. Summer swords
Boots: 2 badges, 14 G. Summer swords

Pants: 2 badges, 14 G. Summer swords
There is a prerequisite of 300,000 reputation and you must get the ring first before you can access other rank9 pieces. Each G. Summer sword requires 9999 mysterious chips to make and there is no chip fee. The level requirement is 101. The badges are randomly assigned to a territory owner once per week, which is tradeable.
There are 7 pieces in rank9: chest, leggings, wrist, boots, belt, bow and ring. The ring does not count towards the bonus.
The belt and ring cannot be refined. Armors come in 3-4 sockets and the weapon is 100% 2 sockets. They cost 3-5million per piece and can only be bought once per day.

In-game cost:
Under the assumption that one would acquire their mysterious chips from tokens:
Ring: 300,000 rep + 3 badges + 287972 tokens
Weapon: 5 Badges + 764924 tokens + Ring
Belt: 3 badges + 287972 tokens + Ring
Boots: 2 badges + 125988 tokens + Ring
Arms: 2 badges + 125988 tokens + Ring
Chest: 2 badges + 125988 tokens + Ring
Pants: 2 badges + 125988 tokens + Ring
eg: if someone was to aim for rank9 weapon, it would cost them 300,000 rep, 8 TW badges and 1,052,895 tokens. At a rate of 11,000coin per token, this equates to roughly 11.6billion coin, almost twice the cost of a warsoul. Happy farming.

I think Rank 9 is great. And you can see the stats on the pwi encyclopedia in game. Just go to gear and type in rank ix0

I highly doubt that is the actual stats. The game will come to an end if there is adv. sacrifical strike on a bow.0 -

rank8 became as common as a TT99 gold set. Almost everyone that set his mind to get one, got it.
PWI had to introduce something hard to achieve, something you really need to work for, at least for a part of it.
3 badges /piece of gear (if I understand correctly) is no joke and those 32x9999 chips (from the info out there so far) isn't a walk in the park either. It's not extremely hard, but it's fairly difficult. The hard part are the badges, and if you think about it, you need about 18 for the 6 pieces of gear you can get. That's 18 weeks of TW...and from original information a land owning faction has "a chance" to get a badge. Of course , 1st week everyone got it...but let's see after how it works. There are quite a few players that can afford/farm everything needed for rank9 except badges and I can see already a fight for who can get them inside the big factions.
And yeah, guys, not that I'm here to spoil the fun, but if you thought wizards were hitting hard with g15 nirvana/rank8, think about how they will hit with a +12 g16 and +30% attk level on weapon - no blessing and frenzy considered.0 -

the frenzy i believe their refering to is the genie skill that gives +20 attack lvlslvl101 LA/AA demon veno ftw, 15251 hp buffed, 13508 buffed pdef in human. able to use tt100 fists at 5 aps w/ genie. all from 2 years of work... WASTED

Making something hard to acheive in this game shouldn't be hard: just make something that CAN'T be bought with gold!
Maybe untradeable mats that must be farmed by yourself. Oh, and keep the mysterious merchant away from those mats. -.-'

There were two frenzies that were being discussed here:
Frenzy: (Genie Skill) Increases Attack Level by 20 while reducing defenses for that amount of time.
God of Frenzy: (Weapon Skill) Has a higher chance to do double damage at the cost of losing 5% Max HP. Sacrificial Strike on steroids
^ that is the skill that is on the PW Wiki for all physical weapons, including the bow. It also states there that these weapons will have 50 Attack Level, not 30.
Other than that, the stats from the pics you posted are identical. We'll just have to wait and see what really happens. For now, I'm happy with rank 8... and probably will still be once I see what the complete cost is for rank 9b:surrender0 -
