Looks like they are in the process of eliminating the middle men in their major areas of expensions... Europe, Japan....

    Nothing. I am from Europe and no one can force me to leave. I hate European versions of games... Less players, less popularity, less everything. -_-

    What's the point of PW Europe? This is PW INTERNATIONAL so anyone can play here.

    lol it has been out a long while.. pw-ms 2008 or so also.
    but even more crappy, so i've always stayed here even tho i'm form Europe.

    Learn to read. This is a new subsidiary company they established in Europe, not the one currently running Perfect World in Europe... Same thing as PWI here in North America.

    I think nothing will happen to EU players who play here. o.o I mean, I am from Europe, too. If they block me from PWI, I will be extremely mad because I spent hundreds of dollars on this game... Nooo, they can't do that! Go and play PW Europe if you want, but I'mma stay. I have all my friends here, and I love my characters. :x

    if they do block ppl i call refund of my money lol. also i wouldnt like to play on EU version, cos alot of ppl usually talk xxxx language there, not just english.

    Yup

    BoI has a European server already, So I would imagine future PWI games will have aswell. They might open a PW Euro Server in the future but thats just pure speculation.

    I don't mind, as long as they don't force me to join that server. I ain't gonna leave my US friends and my faction. Plus I work from 2pm to 10pm and I play from 11pm to 5am. Most Europeans sleep at that time, I don't want to play on an empty server. <.<; It's perfect for my US friends, it's afternoon for them so we can play together. Yay for time zones!

    well it would be wonderful if pwi servers would upgrade or something.. i think im speaking on almost every eu players behalf.

    i have myself 100mb dl / 10mb up interwebz and it shows on server selection like 120ms on harshlands.. but now with new patch that you can see ms in game.. oh man it like 300-1000 mostly around 500~700 thats not good. oh also where this harshland server is located. i tested pinging several cities in us east and new york atleast had one of worst pings. i guess their servers suck. ;3 hope its not there.

    so yeah atleast 1 pvp server somewhere *near* europe that eu players could enjoy gameplay which doesnt lag so much. > less than 300ms. or atleast stay around that 300~ 300 isnt so bad but the ping jumps all the time to 300~1000 so sometimes you might even have 1sec delay and so. its not cool.

    other option is to upgrade servers so it would be more friendly to europeans. also what i tested abit. i realized that servers such as harshlands it has far less players than lets say dreamweaver and that raging tide or something but still it does lag more. so does dream + raging have better server than harshland? the ping there is more stable.

    it would be fine there but i already have chars and all in harshland. wont start making new ones and level them up again. not to mention bought quite alot gold anyways. also what ive seen is that especially harshland it has been becoming laggier all the time. year ago it didint lag so bad and year before that even less.

    i hope you guys can upgrade servers or something. its been quite frustrating sometimes since sometimes even on bh others start hitting the boss or mob and my bm just stands there like 1-4 secs and then it starts to hit :D then after that it usually works well forawhile then lag again ^^

    anyways hopefully you guys could do something about the servers so it would be more *international* then. as everyone could enjoy it *equally*

    Before someone comes and rips you apart for this, and in case they do, I'm just going to be nice about it.

    PWI, being international does not in any way shape or form obligate them accomodate everybody around the globe equally.

    International by definition just means between more than one nation, this currently being China and their target, US. They are already "international", just not "global".

    Their primary target is still Americans, which is why it's probably a bit of a stretch to ask them to specially accomodate Europeans. I mean, it might be a good move, might be a bad move, I don't know, but they are not morally or legally obligated to serve you.

    Reiterating, their highest priority is still Americans, therefore being treated "equally" is probably out of question.

    yep but what i was mainly saying there. even by upgrading servers it would fix most of the problems. also it would be better for US players too. everyone would win win. i'm wrong? no need to do server on europe. just upgrade servers. as i play quite many games that has servers in US but i still get good ping etc there. no lag. only exception is these pwi servers. theyre getting full or something. the servers should be upgraded anyways.
    oh. as most game companies they use those hosting companies to host their own games?;o not so sure if pw does that, but if they do. maybe getting more *reliable/stale* server hosting company could work.

    anyways like i said earlier from my view and alot of my friends have said also. some servers especially harshlands has been getting laggier over time. like year ago there werent lag like this(it was half of what it is now). so i think by just upgrading servers whole lag problem would be fixed for everyone and that isnt even so *big* thing to do in the end.

    not to mention if there is going to come alot new *content* anywhere in future. they will have to upgrade then atleast. gotta wait for that day xD lagfree pwi again ;P

    lol, Perfect World Europe (previously Perfect World UK) is a completely seperate server, outside of Perfect World Entertaiment jurisdiction. In other word, PWE is not supported by PWI. It is also with out the expansions.
