Psychic - OP Tank?

Ok quick question...recently on my BH 99 I tend to end up killing the boss with cleric heals as rest of my squad dies (dont ask why..lol) and I wonder...
Are we capable of tank nearly eevrything as long as we get our smexy cleric heals?

I have to add though, the demon 99 is tankable, sage 99 is quite harder...I wonder why..

For my build...dont laugh>_>'
23 vit or such, 400+ mag, 120 str

Yes...120 str i wear a heavy helmet due to it giving more vit then having the points in vit lol

So what do you think..or what did you already tank where the barb/bm/sin tank failed?

    We do make excellent tanks when a cleric is there for us. Some might say "Well any class can tank if they have heals." To which my response is but can they hold agro easily? As a pure build I have to put a second or two between allmost every attack otherwise I can usually take agro in a flash, even when using just our poke skills. (Unless we have a smart barb who uses fleash ream frequently.) With a cleric healing me I can tank just about any boss as I can hold agro easily. Only problem is since I'm super squishy we have to kill the boss fast otherwise the cleric's mp might become a problem. So far I've tanked BH29, 39, and 51. Don't know if I can tank quest bosses like Jewel yet since I haven't tried but looking forward to the challenge.
    Immunity to logic is my greatest strength.

    hehehehe jking...nice job tho!

    I have 57 str and cn pretty tank everythink till 19cave (b:chuckle) till 99 cave...but still need a cleric with healing or BB...how much pdef you have?

    Also there is the 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 that we can tank easily.

    Uh..yes my str is for my helmet, dw it works as i wanted hehe
    A bit odd but i thought long about it;)

    I never tried tanking TT...i did tank bosses in TT 3-3 for a bit though till tankw as back =O

    I dont know if i would sacrifice 70 points at magic to use a helm with more vit...just refine and shard, but well, if you like it, up to you. ^^

    I have almost 3k unbuffed at pdef... and my build is 9 mag 1 str so...
    Im also aiming for +10 vit stones but that is another subject for a thread

    obs. Notice that def level +2 gems for psys putting in armor is only for using with white vodoo...thats what i think imo, asked some high level psys about this. there is also a thread about this.

    now why'd you put so much in str? (note my str is base 50, not 62 and my vit/dex are base 5)

    Was 30k from finishing Emperor on a party wipe on just charm (was at about 1.2m when the rest of the party exploded.. Of course we're not meant to tank in these situations, though if we go at it full force, we may pull aggro and should be able to survive at least a couple hits.

    I'm kinda new to this, so i have a question, are u guys tanking with white voodoo on? I was trying to take on qianji using my 75 psy with a 88 cleric and a 75 veno. I had 8k water res and 1.3k phys res with 2.6k hp and with level 9 white voodoo, we had to try twice as the first time, qianji hit me for over 2k and I died. Admittedly im using crappy purple gear and the 74 token sphere, but i cant imagine surviving if i had used black voodoo XD

    also are u guys saying u can tank anything at level 100 or anything that you needed to tank when u needed it?

    Qianji will not hit you for 2k if you have 8k water resistance.

    I only have about 6.5k buffed and she only hits me around 800-1.5k WITH Black Voodoo

    I am pretty sure some random Psy lvl 100 try tank Crimson one eye and succeed =]

    Thats unbuffed.. Refined weapon to +10 and full magic at lvl 100+ will give decent mag. atk and magic defence when you got full Lunar-Nirvana...b:cute


    And no.. better to put vit stones - yes citrine gives more HP but thats about it.. A lot of vit stones will give you less hp, but adds a lot of p.def. mag. def. hp recovery and makes you overall harder to kill.

    I did tank fb99 SoT once, when the whole squad was wiped near last boss when they try to skip run mobs =/

    And no, not buffed, hp's largely from refining. Matk's from gearing for mag + refining. And I don't have full lunar nirvana, just 2 pieces...
