    what the **** did they do to the interface?

    the chat is so overcrowded and bulky now i cant stand it, the font everywhere is so large i feel i have to sit 20 yards away to read it, painful to watch as the chat was PERFECT B4 this update.


    its kinda upsetting that they took something as good and well made as the old chat system and completely and uterlly F**ked IT UP.

    And I've heard bad things about the new char select screen too...

    PWE I hope you realize this patch could get you sued if someone opens the game and dies of seizure and u have not placed a warning somewhere on the site or on the download.

    The new look literally hurts my head.

    I see no real changes with the char select screen short of the ugly font there too.... which is slightly bearable.

    It's a bad sign when I've had the PWI launcher open for ten minutes and still don't dare press the huge "START" button because of what I might be met with.

    If it's worse in game, I think I will not be tending to my affairs before I leave for the weekend. My head hurts enough from the screenshots.

    A dose of pure hate, starting now, I am taking a vacation from PWI, and later I will see if I ever come back.

    The forum is still my hobbie, so, I will stay.

    I'm in the same boat as you are. Fully patched, ready to go, and.... absolutely terrified to hit that big start button.

    The in game font changes are atrocious. It looks like a first grader scribbling with a crayon meets grandma's overly large telephone pad.

    I was in game for about 10 minutes before I had a headache and logged out.

    I surely would never expect such a surprise when logging in after this patch was effective.

    Here is my story:

    ...After clicking on start, I began to look at the changes in font in the game interface.
    'Oh, looks nice, kinda' did I say to myself.
    Then I looked at my characters' list and murmured to myself it did not look so nice but still, I would not have anymore difficulty differentiating the names of my chars anymore (even if I still remember in what order I created them. I am not senile yet, young 'in).
    I then decide to log in.

    And then...

    When finally landing in-game, I discover this magnificent bold font about everywhere making the chat box even more decorated and giving a sense of fullness...

    The cute little boxes specifying the chat type making it so colorful and fun distracted me (my eyes do not burn, so it's fine), especially that they piled themselves one above the other.

    Seriously, everytime one used a teleacoustic (To advertise the changes to all and to share their love to the ones that came up with this idea, like if it was not visible already), one golden box would pop up.
    Whee, the new stuff reminded me of those puzzle games I played in my golden age. Maybe they should use it in the forums too.

    The fact that people mentioned various items for fun made the chat box even more dynamic. It's like they promote all sort of PWI stuff, it's a game in the game!

    I then proceeded in reducing the font size and removing the bold thing. The effect was still around and so I said to myself, 'fine then, I truly need to share this marvel to forums.'

    Before leaving, I decided to grind a bit. I then could not see what drops I gained when patting monsters on the back, not that I cared in the first place anyway, since they are mine, all mine!

    ...and that is all for now.
