Since I suppose noone is bothering to read the *Tao* thread now I'll make this.
Apparently Crysella kicked everyone and disbanded Tao? Members splitting into Invidia/TE/undecided
Anyone else know?

No1 got the lead in the end? She even kicked Edya?b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

u cant disban a lvl 3 faction................Exegesis-103-Psychic--blackballs, blueballs, pinkballs, hairless balls. You got a lotta balls to be applying to Enrage...AND ask for a private denial reason? gg man. gg.0
-
I thought it would have been obvious enough..if she *disbanded* lead would have been given to Edya.0
-
fine, i fail. anyway, bye Tao.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I probably didn't word that correctly.
I meant to say I meant disbanded in another way because that's the word my friend used to describe to me what happened, so it stuck to me t.t
Sorry Andro.0 -
Edya got lead from sweet_kill, booted everyone from the faction, and Tao now lies just with Edya.
Even the guild bank was booted xD~Almost original Tao member~

It was like watching the person being fed via a tube and nobody wanting to pull the tube and let it die with a little dignity."Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory.

Wait, what happens if the leader of a faction is the only member left and deletes his or her account? What happens to the faction then?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I think Sleep meant what happens to the faction, not the land.... if you cannot disband a lvl 3 faction, maybe you can delete the last char left in and it disbands automatically b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

i hope the decision was taken by majority of the members0
-
Thx for doing that Crysella.. Thats how Disa should have already done it.. No need to making Tao some lame faction when its not possible to rebuild it at this time... Leave it with Edya and let it rest is the way to go.. Let the other Tao members go to other TW factions and enjoy the game...
R.I.P Tao - we will miss ya. b:cute b:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] OH really? What a surprise.0 -
im not gonna miss it.they didnt have tacos.jerks.mmmmmm tacos mmmmm
Retired for good.0 -

The game denies you deleting a character if (1) you're leader of a faction, or (2) you're married. So answer is, you cant delete the character. Accounts are never deleted.0 -
R.I.P Tao ....finally... fkn zombies ..... b:chuckle0

Arghhhhh, we pirates of TheEmpire have successfully plundered and ***** Tao of all it's resources. Now on to Radiance you scalywags!!!Whatever, I do what I want0

The way I see it, this never had to happen. Everyone can quote me all you want, and disagree with what I say, but this is my opinion - you don't like it then QQ m0ar.
If Tao could have received a good leader - someone who can lead a faction. Someone who does something everyday, and can get people motivated and upbeat for TW/Growing larger, this whole thing would have never happened. The failure on the part of leadership was the real killer. Also, when you invite people (Not gonna name names) to your faction, that has many other problems in other factions (Stealing, PKing low lvls, KSing MQ bosses, etc), your only looking for trouble. Tao invited several people that caused a lot of drama, which they should have never been invited in the first place. If someone in my faction invited someone that I knew, or others knew of causing drama/issues, then I boot them. Plain and simple.
Tao's name being "tarnished" and unable to recruit? Lol, gimme a damn break. Actually a long time ago when my faction was starting I actually thought that we had an issue like that. Then I realized most people don't care, don't know, or just want to join to be part of your faction. This issue, isn't an issue. If Tao got the leader or an officer to RECRUIT LIKE MAD (Not once or twise a day), and if needed - to drop the online application process for a bit to speed things up, they shouldn't have had any issues.
"Let Tao die with dignity". If they didn't have such poor leadership, Tao could have regrown and wouldn't need to drop it's "dignity". If Tao had good leadership, what should have been done was to defend those 2 lands as much as possible. In the meantime recruit. When they lost both lands, keep recruiting and stop all work on "Weekly TW" for now. Begin recruiting even more, as well as start doing faction TT runs to get geared up. Work on some PvP-events, such as duel events so people can learn their class. Granite at 85+ like Tao was recruiting, people SHOULD know their class, however most don't nowadays, and even if they are hardcore Tao fans, and love the faction - they still need to know how to use their class. After Tao reached a good 150+ members, start working on doing TW weekly once more. Nothing too crazy, don't worry if they lost etc. After each TW, work together as a faction on new strategies, as well as some events (The time your faction has the most online is generally right after TW, so events after TW are a great way to get a good portion of your faction involved together beside's just in TW). A good event is to kill some World Bosses as a faction. Recently my faction just has a Hide & Seek event w/ tons of prizes to help our faction. If you actually give a damn as a leader, your faction can go very far.
So again to conclude...
Tao has had poor leadership. The leaders for months now have been complete morons, and unless someone can sit here and prove me wrong, then I will keep on believing such. I won't reply however. You want to talk to me, I'm in-game 12+ hours a day.0 -

Trem- It's so easy to stand and cast stones and lay blame for what happened to Tao. It's been a ship that was sinking for quite a while for way too many reasons to bother to go into now.
But, if all your great advice was followed it would have been saved? If that is the case then I would assume Mortal has become an awesome powerful guild, not one that attacked Tao week after week after week, and was normally rolled by about 10 ppl, even in the end.......
Tao's time had come, and now it's gone.
Now follow your own advice with your own guild, and attack Enrage.0 -
Sinking Ship syndrome. Once it starts, it generally cant be stopped. Noone wants to be the last one on the boat & go down with the ship, so they push everyone else out of the way to get off 1st.0
