Venomancer's 79 Skills

Hello all!
I'm going to be 79 soon and have been considering getting at least one (possible 2) of the skills for venomancer at 79. I have the coins and spirit to get one starting out.
I just want to know, which skill (feral concentration/Myriad Rainbow) would be the best to get first and what are your experiences with these skills. Do you like them? Are they worth the spirit and coins? Do they make killing bosses faster?
I PVE mostly with emphasis on TT. Any comments are appreciated! b:cute
Edit: Also if there are any good discussions on the topic of these skills or anyone posts about someone's experience please link it. I searched for an hour during WQ and it started to make my head hurt some lol.
Thanks again.

I think the recommended order is Fox Myriad (to help AOEing in FF and Rebirth), then the other two as you see fit. Probably Feral second, and caster Myriad last.
If you don't plan to AOE, then you can flip the order. Caster Myriad, Feral, Fox Myriad. Caster Myriad's only advantage is longer range though (Fox version is AOE). So the only advantages it has over the Fox version is you can use it from outside AOE range of certain bosses, and you don't have to go into Fox form (and lose mana) to use it.
Feral is useful in combination with Fortify or Absolute Domain on your genie. I use Fortify, but am reluctant to recommend it anymore because the extra affinity point you need to get Fortify in most genie builds screws over the genie for certain popular skill combos at level 95-100. You'll need to reset the genie affinities to fix it.0 -
Um, they're all good.
The myriad rainbows you can probably cope with having only one of them - they both do the same thing, the human one is longer ranged, the fox one is AOE. Pay your money and take your choice.
Feral concentration is the only different one - it's for saving your butt, but hard to use properly. I personally don't like it, but many veno's love it.
I'd suggest aiming longer term to get them all, but start with myriad - the human form if you tank a lot of bosses where you're stuck chain-healing, the fox one if you get to do a lot of frost/zhenn/rebirth.0 -
Imo; Myriad Fox (since it's an aoe) > Myriad Human > Feral
I kinda like Myriad Fox in TW, i got both though I couldve saved the money/spirit for the human form one. Nothing spectacular. The only use I have for Feral is in Cube for Have a Listen EX, since I'm lazy.b:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I, personally, have gotten only Fox Myriad, and I don't think I'll get the other two. As was said, Feral is a really good skill, but really...how often are you going to have to use it? As I see it, it's really only good for when you steal aggro from a boss, but if you're careful (as you should be), and/or have a good tank, then it shouldn't hardly ever be needed. As for the caster Myriad...I would just use the Fox Myriad, since I only would use either Myriad on, say, a boss or aoe groups. *shrugs* My personal preferance.Katzyn, level 101 Demon Veno
Kylenea, level 99 Demon Cleric
ForestSonata, level 6x Mystic

Thanks all for the helpful comments b:cute.
I'm getting one of the myriads first for sure and they both seem to have good advantages over the other. At the moment I'm doing more TTs than RBs or FCs (which I hope to start soon) so I may just get the caster myriad first, then the foxform when I get into FCs.
Out of curiosity, how often do you get the myriad effects? Is there a chance to, say, get both armor and mind break from one cast?
Thanks again all b:victory0 -
I chose Myriad Rainbow Fox Form too. I have yet to get the other two but I'm not in a hurry. I love Myriad fox just because it's AOE. It's extremely useful in rebirth/FCC/etc. and I even use it during AOE grinding/questing. Even if I don't get the armour/mind break the DoTs are powerful and come in handy any time.
I'm not sure how often I get the effects. It's probably 20% for the breaks and 30-40% for the DoTs maybe. I don't have any numbers or formula though. I just compared it to my Demon Ironwood which has a chance of 20% to cause armour break.
Also, Myriad looks really shiny when used during AOE b:laugh[SIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/MtwcqjL.png[/SIGPIC]

I call fox myriad rainbow my "skittles" attack, since its a rainbow.
I use both myriads quite often and feral I have used but only on very rare occasions. Long channeling time but combined with an apoth pot you can run around and attack things while you are invincible.I am a barb that does not powerlevel, nor cash shop. I may not be the highest level, nor have the best gear. However unlike others, I know how to play.b:pleased0 -
My main reasons for using caster myriad are:
When foxform is in cooldown.
When the boss has an aoe I don't want to get close to.
When I want to avoid getting any extras with it. (Stupid wandering guards)
There's not much in it, though, I do agree with that.
Foxform has one other major advantage I forgot - it's a VERY noticeable debuff shiny effect, so people are less likely to overwrite it when it actually lands.0 -

I personally got myriad rainbow human first for it's range, as for feral it is not really tht gd at saving ur **** unless your thinking "hmm i might be low on hp in 10 sec's time" it just has too long a cast, I however did get it as my second 79 skill but because i have demon summer sprint (anti stun) so pop that then feral and boom 10 secs to nuke the **** outta stuff taking no damage, but again thats only really useful in pvp.
So you said mainly pve and TT in that case i would recommend myriad rainbow human first for its range.0 -
TBH, fox myriad isnt all that useful. I got it first, rarely used it. In fact.. both myriads are mediocre at best. They rarely work (imo) and when they do, they often get overwritten by other -def debuffs.I was early taught to work as well as play,

coz its not that useful on single target but if you do FC or GV a lot then yes its good0
