Changing Screenshots from .BMP to .PNG or .JPG

Hiiiii,

I already know that you can convert it yourself through a program if you want to do it manually...

But I -don't- want to do it manually anymore. I don't like each of my screenshots being over 5+mb in size. And I hate .BMP anyway. I prefer .PNG. I don't know why, but I just do.

And to save the hassle of trying to manually convert each thing...I was wondering if there is a setting/option somewhere that will, when you take a screenshot ingame, start saving the screenshot in .PNG or .JPG and NOT .BMP as default.

And while I am at it...why don't they save in .JPG anyway seeing that when you put in support tickets and provides pictures, they require you to upload as .JPG and nothing else (and save everyone the converting hassle)?

Thanks in advance.

Players doing more work = thats fine. I see no problem
Devs doing more work = big problem. Do not expect.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

I don't understand what you'r on about honestly.

But to be clear just use print screen to take a screenshot and then paste it on paint and save it as your desired file.

    Its not that hard

    edit:

Its not that hard to change the file format.

    LloydAsplund: ): Hey...you never know!

Axixon: I know you only mean to help, but I clearly stated in my post that while I know that you can do it manually, I DON'T want to do that...I rather have it all automatic and junk. I don't want my game when I press screenshot to save as .BMP because it's huge while .PNG and .JPG files are smaller in size.
;I don't want to have to convert all my files manually...I have a lot of screenshots and don't really want to go through all them and do that...
;Printscreening then putting it in paint would be a pain in the butt if I had a lot that I wanted to do at once.

Since it seems rather unlikely this will ever happen, you can try downloading Irfanview, which is a free program that can batch convert your files into PNG or JPG instead of having to do them one at a time. Next best thing, really. You can get it at http://www.irfanview.com/

I like Rea batch image converter software. Now I can make my pictures compatible with the usable formats. Great software which lets you do a wide variety of ways to edit, alter, enhance and process batch conversion of your pictures in just a few clicks.
