    I believe you get them from decomposing a certain level of weapon/armor.

    ☆Charging Helmet gives 18 Yiyuan Stones.

    I often see catshops that are specialized in that in my server... selling yiyuans for 100 coins a piece. They tend to be in Archosaur, around the Watcher of Earth.

    Compose? Like craft things? You need to find the selected materials that you need to craft it from monsters or materials that you farm from the ground using a pickaxe. Then you head over to the NPC that you want to craft from

    Blacksmith ---> Weapons
    Tailor ----> Armor
    Craftsman ----> Ornaments
    Apothecary
    > Potions

    And don't forget the skill levels required to make some items as well.

    You can decompose by taking shattered gear to any tailor,blacksmith,craftsman or apothecary

    Farm the iron ores and sandstones around city of raging tides, make spears at the blacksmith (level 1), decompose them, get the yiyuan stones, use them on your genie.

    Easy genie food...that's how I do it

    It's the 'decompose item' choice in the NPC menu.
    You need the proper level to decompose the piece of equipment (look at lv X on the description of the item. I don't know what level of crafting is needed for any of the levels of equips, you'd need to go for further searches about it). Go for a tailor to get armor decomped, blacksmith for weapons and craftsman for accessories.

    Isn't it funny that you got to improve crafting level to decompose better? ^^

    Go do your lvl 1 manufacturing quests through the elder of your race's city, turn on your help menu again if you turned it off, and it'll tell you how. Btw, press L for your help menu.
