Damage

Hi hi,

I want to know if the damage I deal's normal for a Psy.
My Psy's lvl 27 and I hit like 1.3k with Aqua Impact and Spirit Blast, both on lvl 6 and I don't know for sure, but I think something like that too with Landslide, lvl 2.

    Damage isn't really too big of an issue at low levels. You sound a little lower than i was. In the upper 20s, I was popping close to 2k. What build are you using? Along with what gear. Remember to stack M.atk and Magic out the wazoo to really get your damage up there. Post what build you are using for your psych, please~ ^^v

    I have a 27 Psy as well, and it sounds about right to me.

    Edit; is this normal, with Black Voodoo, or with White Voodoo?

    A bit underpowered. You'll get an increase with the mold weapon though gained at from your first token quest.

    I already got the weapon from Weapon Token I, I'm using Arcane Armor, that was with Black Voodoo and my build's 8 mag, 1 vit, 1 str every 2 lvls. xD

    Well your build isnt pure because of the one vit, which depending on how long you keep it will make your damage a bit smaller. But not hugely. At the start i was killing mobs in like 4-5 shots, it went something like. Aqua impact, spirit blast , aqua, landslide aqua. But in my early 50's im 2 shotting so it does get better. Then again i have jonses blessing and the ledgend weapon mold.

    I don't 2 shot unless they are 3 or 4 levels lower. Then again, I wasn't pure all the way to 64.

    Okie, but at what lvl can I'd best start going Pure Mag?

    Well, right from the very beginning of lvl1 and onward. It is up to you. That -1 point per 2 levels, I feel isn't going to hurt your damage. Now say if you were doing -2 or -3..

    Mine was very random. I did 1/9 from 1-30. I did 1/1/8 from 30 to 35, and back to 1/9 til 40 and 1/1/8 for a few levels. After hitting 50, I stuck with 1/9.

    Well, when I was twenty I was doing about 1.5k+ damage. That was with the mold weapon and a pure mag build + highest level black voodoo.

    Your damage is fine, but the 1 vit is going to hurt your damage a little. Not much, but just a little.

    Though if later you feel your damage is too low, you could just get a reset and take out some of the vit.

    You can make up for the lost HP with citrines and refines.

    My Psy's lvl 29 now and I'm planning to start going Pure Mag at lvl 30. :)

    i hit a 129k when i was in my 80s, then went up to 231k when i got my harpy wraith weapon

    i spent a few hours beating off over the damage log ;o

    so yeah, pure magic is the way to go
