Help lvl 4 blacksmith!!!!!!~~~~

i have lvl 3 blacksmithing... xp bar is 100%.... i have never had quest, nor have i ever trashed it... i go to blacksmith tang in archosaur and he tells me he has no available quests atm... well ive never done this quest so i should have it... i am lvl 63 so i am high enough.... got enough cash and spirit to upgrade but its not letting me!!!! HELP!!!! im so confuzzled b:cry

    Dude sounds like you made the error many do: Level 1/2/3 you get with blacksmith/tailor and craftsman by making the required number of ANYTHING in that level.

    For level 4 (and 6 later on) you have to make the CORRECT things, which will be a certain selection of 2 STAR items......

    I just took the following quote from Perfect World Database

    " Talk to Blacksmith Tang in the North District of Archosaur about more advanced Blacksmith skills."

    Then you have the option of selecting a quest called STEP 2.

    Then you will get the list of what you have to make.

    Take a deep breath man, when you see what you have to make and realize what materials you need to get to level 4 you may get slightly depressed. Just level 4 blacksmith took me over 200 rough fur, and then theres level 4 tailor and craft.

    Do some searches, there are plenty of other threads about this

    ...okay... greeat i spent all my money on lvling blacksmith
    BUT what your are saying is i need to make any 2, 2 star items before i can have/start the quest... then i can continue from there on...?

    because i have made 2, 2 stars items i just decomposed them.... so i need to make 2 more?

    I think you have to talk to the Elders 1st before the specific "examiners" give you the quest

    The above post might be right about talking to the elder....

    The end result will that you get a quest to manufacture SPECIFIC 2 star items, and yes its as bad as it sounds. Youll end up making normal and 3 stars of those items, but you gotta keep doing EACH one till you get that 2 star.....

    Sometimes the required 2 stars are available for sale but because they are so sought after they cost an absolute crapload....

    Level 4

    Requisite Level: 50

    Requisite Production Level: 3 with 100% mastery value

    1. Upon reaching player level 50 with level 3 blacksmith skill, a system message appears to talk to the Elder of Archosaur (571 648)
    2. Talk to the Elder of Archosaur (571 648)
    3. Talk to Blacksmith (563 682)
    4. Manufacture the following 2 stars weapons:
    Sawtooth Blades = Purified Oil (12), Yellow Jade (3), Copper Bar (3)
    Ornamented Bow = Rough Fur (12), Yellow Jade (3), Copper Bar (3)
    Heretic Banishing Pataka = Silk Threads (13), Yellow Jade (3), Copper Bar (3)
    5. Return to the Blacksmith (563 682) with the above weapons and 10 refined steels to obtain the Apprentice Blacksmith skill book
    6. If necessary, manufacture level 3 weapons until mastery value reaches 100% (yellow bar)
    7. Talk to any Elder to "Learn Manufacturing Skill"
    8. Pay the required coins and spirit to learn level 4 Blacksmith
