Do wings drop when you die?

I've heard that items can drop from you even if they are equipped if you get killed by something. I also heard that this includes wings. Is that true, and if so does it also include Cash Shop wings? I just spent $25.00 on Seraphic Mist wings and would be devastated if anything happened to them just because I got killed. It seems like a really cheap way to cheat people out of their money. I know that you can bind the item to you, but at the moment I'm a level 21 Archer and MAY make a Cleric in the future. If I do I would really like to be able to transfer the wings between them as needed.

One person did mention that they only drop if you get killed by another player and not just by a monster. Not sure if that's true or not. Nobody else mentioned it. If wings DO drop on death. what chance (percentage) is there of that happening?

    items only drop if you get PK'd, not if you get killed by a mob. even then it's a low risk so long as you were white-named; the risk increases if you're a pink- or red-named player killer, though i think it's still relatively low. but deaths to mobs should never cause item drops.

    if an item does drop, it'll be randomly picked from your inventory, selecting from things that can be dropped. a few items, as i'm sure you know, are protected from death --- or can be bound to you with a binding scroll. aerogear, such as wings, are neither protected nor bound by default, so there is a risk they might drop if you're pk'd.

    Okay thanks. This little piece of news makes me REALLY glad that I play on Heaven's Tear, where I can happily keep my PK-Mode turned off as long as I wish, and then equip crappier wings if I'm in the mood to murder people. I can go back to doing my quests without having a heart attack every time my HP goes low now b:laugh

    If you are blue named, items will usually never drop if you are killed by a mob. I have heard stories of things dropping from a death like this, but i have never had it happen to me =/. If you are white named and are pked, you have a small chance (1% or something) to drop items out of your inventory. If you are pink or red named, you can drop anything that is not bound and tradeable. If you are red named, the chance is pretty high that you will.

    i've heard scary stories about items dropping from blue-names who were killed by mobs, but i don't really believe them. it's certainly never happened to me, nor to anyone i've directly spoken with. if it did, i would (recommend it be) treat(ed) as a game bug and open a support ticket requesting the item be returned.

    There used to be a 1% chance to drop stuf from inva as you get killed by a mob, but they took it out

    I dropped a wraith tag when i was in frost the other day and that was from a monster S: and my ingame hubby dropped some low level armor when he was killed by a mob also. We're both white named.

    My friend lost a brand new piece of fashion while blue named inside of fb51. She was soloing and had no access to a cleric nor did she have a res scroll, and by the time she got back the skirt was gone :(

    This was roughly a month after the GMs announced that the possibility to drop while blue named had been reset to 0. Took her a while, but they did restore it to her.

    That said, I believe it has been officially stated several times since that they have verified you have no chance to drop when blue named.

    You could Learn more about it Pressing the "L" Button in game and go to PVP/PK tab .
