Thats like telling people with a faster mount not to dig up all mid/special mats on a route - because poor people with slower mounts needs them to.

Or to tell people at Nien Beast event with +10 weapons to stop killing all the mobs before you can reach them.

It really doesn't work that way in a competitive MMO.

Venos with amazing gear dont give a **** about the fact that a lower level veno (that only invested a few weeks in this game) needs a kowlin to lure with or whatever - and cant afford 500k to buy one.

I dont get why any high lvl veno would bother with rare pets spawns at all tho. You dont need the pet if you have herc/nix and rare pets dont sell for a lot of money. You make so much more farming TT or Nirvana than taming pets.

It would gladly let anyone that actually needs the rare pet to tame it before me b:cute

Rares are a resource and anyone who's efficient collecting it deserves to reap the rewards of their labor. There is something low level venos can do, TEAM UP, the advantage of a social game is numbers can somewhat make up for the difference in gears/levels.

What i do not agree with however is venos killing the spawn if they can't get it themselves, it's not being a good sport. Mind you this is only an opinion, it doesn't justify abusing them on chat either and certainly people sending tickets over this, as it was once done, is completely blowing things out of proportion. Rares are not that hard to get and every veno that wants one will probably eventually get it. Farming and merchanting to save enough to buy one has just as much merit as camping the spawn. The important thing to remember is rare pets are not free, either you must get very lucky or work hard one way or the other to get one.

ehehe its never going to happenXD. I myself cant be bothered with making anything but baby snowhares and some days there's 2-3 venos camping even them out. Even thought i mostly catch snowhares for the purpose of giving them as gifts to friends, when i see other venos after him something happens inside me and i feel i MUST catch that furry cutie pie and usually doXD. Though i would never kill a rare pet if my tame failed

Dunno about that. I view it as most lazy vit venos that aren't even good for DD'ing not even amping or using a fail pet because it's cute. Or the ones without a Herc that say they're better because of it. b:chuckle I can't hate wizzies because I feel sorry for them having played one. They also don't have much responsibility: just sit there nuking. Oh wait *edit: I do hate wizzies! Knocking back mobs into other mobs in FBs so my pet follows =s , not waiting for me to finish luring before they're trying to prove their aggro prowess (when they know I'm gonna SD), assuming their dps is better than mine because they're a wiz, etc.

I think we had this discussion before, and every class is hateable, it's just we see the deficiencies in other venos easier because we know the class.

Don't believe or trust the venomancers at the spawn unless they are your friends/your know them. Most of the time they will lie about the hour, about the pet, about themselves. Not to mention that they'll easily show off just so you will see she has every rare pet possible and you don't.

This is what I can't stand at the spawns. I know someone who goes at the spawns everyday because that is her only way to raise money for her future armour (and I won't mention the reasons to why this is her only way of income) however if the other venomancers would ask, she answers to them, she doesn't lie and she doesn't show off at all. I don't mind mind that. It sure is annoying though if you are trying to tame it for yourself.

Ahh well it's not as if we can do something but it would be nice if all venomancers would unite b:chuckle WE WOULD DOMINATE PWI! Veno Power.

Someone should be nice enough to give me TT/Lunar/nirvana gears for free and everything else I want!...Just because your a poor low/high lvl veno who want rare pets for "personal use" doesnt mean you can get it without problem. You have a tame skill and thats all...Higher lvl venos probably started to tame cause they needed herc.etc.They invested in expensive gears and they use them to make money. So? If some1 "need" rare pets for personal use doesnt mean she has more right to tame it......

There are like 5(?) kinds of venos : 1. Venos who can tame/farm rare pets-->have better stuffs than you do
2. Venos who are low lvl or high lvl but poor(...)-->they hate tamer venos /herc venos, want rare pets for free and cry all the time
3. Venos who are farming something else.They dont really care about rare pets.
4.Venos who dont even know what rare pets are but want them.
5.Venos who tame but follow the supernice and superpoor path.

along the lines of calling some1 lazy cause of their build or pet choice, i bet ud laught at me. but if u were on same server as me in pk mode id stomp u into the ground because of your arrogance and ignorance. build determines nothing anymore. i know alot of vit venos, and la venos. that i would take on runs with me anyday over a mag veno. even other classes, one of the best barbs ive done a fcc with was a demon fist barb. skill makes differences in build irrelevant.

Good players with bad builds are still good. Good players with good builds are great. You don't typically see a good player with a bad build though because one of the marks of a good player is having a good build. That doesn't necessarily mean a conventional build though. Some of the conventional builds are rather bad (vit arcane, I'm looking at you) while others are quite good (pure mag/ha are both great). At the same time, an unconventional build isn't necessarily going to be bad, see the thread about the 5 aps veno for example.

I imagine a demon fist barb would be able to hold aggro really well. He would probably lack a bit on the defense side of things, and run into a few more charm ticks, but that's pretty minor.

I encountered by chance and tamed a frogling. I've encountered snowhares a few times, tamed one once (other times I was on non-veno chars, or busy with other mobs and it raced off, not to be seen again. The latter was by South Barrier Village, the others by Timberfield.) Other than that, I haven't seen any rare pets in the wild, partly because I can't be bothered to actually look for them.
