Empire Dress, not what i thought

I bought the empire dress, but I am disappointed at how dumpy and dirty it looks. Also it is missing something that the advertised lead you to believe. Take a look at the advertised and the in-game version.

The white under-dress makes all the difference. I already submitted a ticket, but was just wondering about the opinion of anyone else who bought the dress. It's just a game, I know.

    It looks, to me, like you have the white underdress but your dress itself is white so that might not be obvious to you.

    I wonder if it would have a blue-ish tinge instead of that smokey color if you were standing in a different light?

    The dress is dark gray, its all one color, and no matter what color you dye it, its all one color

    Wrong. Only the top layer changes colour, the base remains white.

    Wrong? I own the dress...

    the bottom does NOT stay white. Did you look at the 2 pictures? Or are you just flaming me?

    Perhaps something is wrong with your graphics card. Take a look around and see what the other ones look like on other people. If it's all one color, then it's your card. If it's just yours that's doing it...well, I guess you have a bad dress...which I don't know if it's possible. xD

    Edit: And also, when you dye it or whatever, it looks as if only the top layer will change color and the bottom will remain white. Except in your case, and I'm sure others, in which the problem lies with the card and it just appears as one color. >_O I'm pretty positive that the mush color you see on your screen appears only on the top later and white on the bottom for other people.

    xD SOrry if I don't make any sense, just woke up not too long ago so my mind is still jumbled, haha.

    Probably your graphics card. The computer I play on has the exact same problem except for pure white. I wondered for the longest time why people like black so much because on my screen there are no patterns; it's pure, solid black.

    When I change the color of something, EVERYTHING on the fashion becomes that color, or close to it. Here;

    Empire Dress in White, Blue, and Black

    Ugly, ain't it? Makes me dislike fashion quite a bit.

    On my sin I have a black after hours top. On my previous computer the tie was not black and had diagonal stripes. On my backup computer (my computer was launched via miniature catapult into a wall) everything is solid black with no patterns and the tie blends into the rest of the shirt.

    Your whole dress is gray.....that's weird. I've seen a few of the Empire Dress in-game already, and they -do- have the white under-dress. I don't know what could be wrong with yours.

    I kind of like yours, actually....if I was on your server I'd buy it from you. ;)

    b:thanks Ty so much for the suggestions, it really helps. I am definitely going to check out my graphics card. That could very well be the problem. And if it looks normal to everyone else, then there really isnt a problem after all, and thats Great!

    I seemed like a good idea at the time. Besides, I think it's quite an achievement to build a functional catapult from household object in under 30 minutes while drunk (OK, so it fell apart when I tried to launch a chair but it worked well for everything before that).

    I'm not really sure what determines whether or not the textures and whatnot appear correctly. The video card on my 'new' computer is actually better for gaming but the absurd amount of movies and music on that computer make playing anything other than a few older games next to impossible (StarCraft anyone? b:chuckle).

    I really like it. It has an Old World fantasy feel. It looks like a medieval dress! Mine is light green with white under-dress. Every one I've seen has a white under-dress with colored over-dress. I also like the Agean dress.
