Hi there,
Can you guys gimme some tips how to deal with the last boss in gamma rebirth, because usually cleric is using blue ball far away to heal and protect the DD, and barb must heal himself only with pots and auras, but charm still tick, because that boss is ridiculously strong, aoe stuns, and uses pdef debuff, then this ends up with a really annoying charm ***.
So, any idea or another strategy to make this **** boss easier, or another setup?

Yea that guy is a charm **** indeed
Use turtle (invoke) carefully and tree of protection and you can minimise the charm ticks. But still, there will be lots of them
The way i was doing it, was having the cleric spam IH as much as he can. This also has 2 sides cause the cleric might die. But still, in my opinion having the DD's or cleric die 1-2 times beats the hell out of consuming 100k of charm for that boss0 -
Send in a hamster with a ridiculously low amount of HP & P Def.

I remember having my charm tick like crazy on that one. No hard and fast rule there though. Invoke every 60 seconds. Solid Shield should be switched on if Invoke is worn down and is in CD. Keep Rage on all the time to absorb some damage, if the mag AOEs are troubling you, then spam TEs mag shield. Not many barbs use this, I always wonder why. A mag shield that absorbs 2500 damage every 20 seconds is great imo.0

Well the hamster thing is good. You should give it a try lol
But as i said before, have the cleric heal you. If DD's keep max range they will die 2-3 times tops (same goes for cleric). They will not get ported to 1k cause the boss hits once, really HARD but once and they don't lose anything if they die. You lose lots of charm (not to mention repairs)0 -

Hm... weird. I remember with good auras just invoke/sunder/TOP & shield combinations were enough for the boss when the cleric would stay near DDs b:cry
If you manage to cancel out some of his aoes it's nice too.
Also one barb told me he usually goes in to boss 1st hits it for a bit, later others join, then the random agro thing isn't so bad.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
The issue is that this boss AOE stuns a lot, and this is the thing that makes most of the charm ticks because you can't use pot when you're stunned. I might try this cleric healing me, it may works if the DD have very good gear.
This boss is very very annoying, without him gamma would costs me nearly nothing, because repairing are covered by the coins which are dropped, but most of the charm ticks comes from that boss, the remaining are when i didnt pay attention or double wave or w/e.
EDIT : I tried today with cleric ironheart/purify me, it worked very well, i had nearly no charm ticks, and cleric survives most of the time with plume shell on ; though the DD/cleric's charms ticked everytime they got one shotted, or more, but the fact they have squishy hp compared to me makes their charm cost negligible compared to mine if i had tank without cleric.
Conclusion : cleric must heal the barb, and spamming plume shell on every cooldown.0
