NPC/Game Lagg

Lately my pwi has been lagging, as in the surroundings lagging, not my character. Like, when I drop from a hill and move along into an area for 5 mins, and I've passed by so many aggro mobs, but nothing happens. Then after that five minutes I see their name tag thingy pop up and occasionally, I'm attacked by "nothing" but I see the damage. And also when I go to a place like Arch, I enter.. lets say South Arch. I enter and wait for the whole map to load and the NPC's to appear for about a good minute.

Any ideas?

Is your computer real old or has an old graphics card? Certain anti-virus softwares can cause incredible lag for your computer and applications on it. Sounds like the problem lies on your end of the game connection.

thats the thing, this computer is fairly new >.<
just got it this year, and all the sudden, the areas in the game have been laggin :(
and idk bout the anti-virus software, mine expired but there is like ads & pop-ups for me to renew it and it'll keep popping up. As for the graphic card, im sure it should be fine since its a new computuer. This issue just started lately and I dont know whatsup b:surrender

It'll be helpful to us if you tell us some of your computer's information.

    1) What is the make and model number of your computer?

    2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.

    3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.

    4) Copy and paste the top half of your dxdiag into your forum post (that means 50% of the text). If you have Vista, please take out the (TM) (the trademark symbol) out of the text file, as the forums will cut it off and won't display the rest of the text.

If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file. This is important so that we can help you find the right software for your system.

We'll take a look at it, and offer our advice (or our super cool and helpful community might beat us to answering things for you).
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Get the latest mainboard, network and sound drivers for your system from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4124974

Update your video drivers from here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-258.96-whql-driver.html

Turn on Windows Updates, and install all critical and important updates that it lists.

Restart your PC after installing each group of updates.

Please note that you should lower the graphic settings to their lowest and turn all effects off because of the age of your hardware.

    See if that helps! b:victory
