Title says all :)

higher base or lower base and some % reduction in armor

thinking to get lunar recasted + def lvl gems in it ,
but TT might be easier to get with 4 sockets.

what do you think barbs :) what is better .b:bye

( full set ofc . )

Lunar, if you can get it.
    It's just sexier.

EDIT: Okay, my personal opinion, based primarily on aesthetic.
To my understanding, Lunar is oriented towards defense whereas TT is geared more towards damage. The difference between the two is relatively minor, but were it within my ability I would certainly take the Lunar armor.

I will be trying to get lunar nirvana simply for the looks and I don't think there that much of a difference once you get them to G15 aside from the fact that lunar nirvana will not auto-bind upon equip. What's the logic behind using def level gems and not vit stones?

Well i also like how Lunar ☆☆Cascade Glow looks like :)

and since i am sage maybe goes better ( and dark TT armor maybe better with demon )

About gems you ask why def lvl and not vit , considering that i have vit gem in every single armor part now (tt99+event gear ) and almost 35k hp i got hit in TW from wizard 59k dmg

( yaiks i don't see how to survive that unless i get 60k hp which is nearly imposible , so i am up for def lvl plan atm :)

and now you ask but armagedon is all about hp, well i will keep this gear for arma xD

i am posting picture of barb in TT recasted , i don't have any with lunar so if somoene has plz post :)

True, the lion in Asylum (Val) has Lunar. The recently posted Hurricane MV provides much better shots, though.

Only 2 pieces so far but...

    r7qfyc.jpg

Fuzzy agree with me barb brothers about the aesthetic aspect as well, but... +10 def lvl set bonus once set is done, and with what me has so far ( 4 socket chest / 3 socket boots ) and assuming at worst me get 3 socket arms and legs, the end game plan be a Jade of Def shard in each... That would at the least = +34 def lvl and with the jones bless to add the +30 attack... combined with 2 diamond of tiger already in Fuzzy's Ashura Axe... should work out to a very viable set of armour.

Fuzzy has said it before, but in me opinion, Lunar gold faster and more expensive to farm, TT cheaper and slower... once considering the set bonus after quench, why go anything less than Lunar?

im a little bit of a noob when it comes to nirvana to be completely honest (this will be my first char to actively go after nirvana gear)

but i did use perfect world calc to see the numbers (coarse this can be wrong):

I kept my pieces of my armor the same with +10 refines and vit stones (because i like seeing huge HP b:laugh)

Pieces of armor i kept the same: cube necklace, warsong belt, lunar cape, CoA rings, TT90 recasted helm, pan gu Axe

Then i switched between lunar recasted and tt99 recasted and looked at the stats showing that:

TT99 offers 300 more HP (almost negligible)
Lunar offers 4% more Pdef and 2% more MDef which you get from tt99 if im not mistaken

But which set offers the Def levels or is it both? if it is both then they are basically the same other then a difference color/ look

In other news both sets look hawt

If the PW database site is right (which it usually is) then both sets give the same set bonus.

They seem pretty equal to me IMO.

The major difference is the 4% which CANNOT BE DEBUFFED on the TT99 reforged gear. I'm going TT99 reforged because I'd rather have some of my defense that isn't able to be debuffed during TW or whatever the case may be.

Does anyone know if the Lunar recasted armor gives any bonuses? Vs. the TT?
I read somewhere that you need like 5 recasted pieces to even get a bonus? Thanks

Yes the lunar recast has the same bonuses as the TT recasted armor, according to the pwdatabase. Guess we can wait for Fuzzy to confirm this.

At level 100 you can recast your tt99 or lunar glade armor/weapons to a whole new set of armor/weapons through an instance called Nirvana. You will need some stones (uncanny crystals and rapture crystals) from the Nirvana instance to recast your armor or wep.

In short, recasted armors and weapons are now the new "endgame" setup of PWI.

Fuzzy will be able to tell you one day, but that day is still far off because....

While everything Cybetron has said is true, it does leave out a small yet EXTREMELY significant point...

Before you can get any of the set bonus's for either path (TT or Lunar) you not only need to reforge your armour at a cost of 100 uncanny's per piece but you must also run it through the Quench stage at the forges which requires another 150 uncanny's per piece.

A quick bit of math tells Fuzzy this means before you can taste the 1st stage bonus you need to acquire at least 500 uncanny's and to get to the def-lvl stage you need to get your paws on 1250 of em.

Me is farming, but it gonna be awhile to see the results... b:surrender
