How to protect from getting ****...

I'm just wondering, how does an account get ****? And no, I'm not talking about people that give out their information, I'm talking about other ways.

Also, is there a way to get **** if someone knows your email for your PWI account? If so, is there a way to change your PWI email? Also every time I log in I see my name, is there a way to change my PWI account name as well? Would a hacker be able to take your account if they knew just your email? Or your email's password?

I mean let's say I never give out my username or my password for my account, and I always click with that thing that protects against keyloggers to enter my password, would I always be safe?

Is my username/email available to the public?

    in game, you can set password with the banker npc, that should prevent people from taking stuff in the bank and some other things,

    also, you can set safety lock....but its more for pk now. with safety lock, everytime you log in, you'll need to wait a certain period of time before you can trade, drop stuff or buy stuff from cat shop. and it takes 3 days to change your safety lock time.

    your email is not available to the public, im not so sure about username

    There be ways to nom your information. b:avoid Now why would you want to know the specifics? O.o'
    One could either get into your system and see the information being typed, nom into the wires and see what goes by, or nom into the target (server) and see what there be.


    For the e-mail thingy,
    Well, if a person knows the log in info for the e-mail you has used for PW and your account name, they can just claim they forgot their password and have a new password issued to the email which they can take and om nom nom your account.

    Also....define "public"


    Me method of preventing information be to use a sufficiently advanced system which human tech be incompatible with then grafting the current human tech on top of that and routinely wiping it.
    Unfortunately me has issues connecting to the hamster/world network.

    your PWI username isn't made "public" to where just anyone can see it. What people do see is the name you chose to use on the forums (aside from your character name). Now, if you decided to name your character after your account name, thats a mistake. however.. since your forum account credentials are the same as the game's account credentials.. someone with the know how could **** the server and steal not just yours, but everyones information.

    what YOU can do is to use real time spyware protection that detects and kills keyloggers, run a firewall with strict policies, never give out your personal information, and use different passwords for everything.

    Your account name not be available...sort of (humans has odd tendencies).... and your email also be not available.

    If u use bots and similar programs, there is an huge change getting ****. Why? because it's like opening the doors for the one who maked that bot program and do whatever he want with your acc......
    So don't ever use bot since either you get **** or banned....If ur dam lucky nothing of this happens, but it like 1 case of 100000000000000000 cases........
