Europian PVe Server

I do not know if I'm in the right place at the forum, I hope I am. I think we need a European server. I know many players who are from Europe, and as I have a problem with the TWs and other events. As an example, TW in my time starts at 5 am, event at 1 am. It is very hard to get up at 4, started at 5 TV, play up to 8 or 7, it does not matter and then go to work, while others who are in the america starting at 8pm. I love to play this game like most but it became very hard to get out in the morning. I think that a European server actually easier playing players who are from that region and you know that our a lot. I hope that someone who is in charge of these things take all this into account and respond. Cya in game

    This isn't a terrible idea to be honest. PW:Europe is very far behind PWI and probably wont get it's license renewed once it runs out. PWI will have to step it up then I suppose.

    No, they won't. Please don't encourage Europeans to think that they're special enough to ever be treated with events that actually fit better into their time zone, nevermind their own sever.

    You people need to go and read PWI's terms.

    1) International =/= worldwide. In two countries or more. As the mother company is in China and has been taken and translated for North America, that makes this game International.

    2) In conjunction with point one this game caters to North America and as such, only allows players from other countries to play this game because it is extra money and more revenue. That is all non-US players are to this company. They are a figure. They are extra revenue.

    And they are not enough extra revenue to warrant a whole server of their own.

    Stop asking for a European server. And this is coming from a British person.

    But I hope there are others and not just Americans and not spinning all around them but that we exist and we are in Europe

    its not really international, plenty of countries banned from pwi. just because they are in north america doesnt mean there is impossible to have servers all over the world, look how many mmo's have US and EU servers under the same company

    I think the OP asked for a european server, not demanding one. That sounds like a legitimate request, regardless of how international or global PWI has to be. More so then a new PVP server, looking at the already half-empty servers.
    It would reduce our ping time maybe, give us less lag, and finally get us some sane event times.

    I like playing the North American servers, but on it, I have a lot of people from my time zone. This is simply because we log on at about the same time. So, at some time of the day there are many more Europeans on the servers. Giving them the possibility to choose between the North-American server or a European one, might bring in more Europeans to the game. It would also make the North-American ones less crowded at the same time, during those periods of the day.
    They did it for some of their other games like BoI, and have added another European server there recently. Getting one for PWI might not be a bad idea. But PWI probably has the best idea if this is a viable option or not.

    EDIT: maybe this thread should belong in Suggestion Box?

    no to that, then everyone would stay in they own region server, and this wouldnt be anymore a international game
    Some Rules each PWI Gamer should know
    1. Dont break this rules & no matter what: DONT TRUST ANYONE!
    2. Dont pay wine or heads fee (like to get kicked after that?) b:chuckle
    3. Dont borrow items (since when return gms scammed stuff?) b:embarrass
    4. Dont use your password in faction-forums (like hacks?) b:fatb
    5. Dont give your mats to the tt-banker (obvious, not?) b:beg
    6. Dont wait for help, or heals, or any other miracles,... (for more examples just play pwi and you will hate the whole humanity) b:bye

    I support the idea of a European server. Europeans would be able to participate more in events and TW.

    What I don't understand is the rather harsh "no gtfo" from some of the users here. There are west coast and east coast servers, what do you care if there is another one in Europe? It's none of your business, frankly. No one makes you log on to a server you don't want to. It's up to PWI to decide wether a server in Europe would have a sufficiently large user base to be profitable.

    But seriously, PW can NOT, for LEGAL reasons open a European server of PWI. PW-MS bought the rights to operate PW servers for Europe. This license existed before PWE/PWI even existed. They didnt license out games like BoI which is why they can have European BoI servers. But for PWI to ever have a European server, the license for PW-MS has to expire & not be renewed. Rumor Mill says that may be the case and may be within the next year. But for now, they simply, legally, can NOT place a PWI server in Europe.

    Thank you for a reasonable argument. Somebody mentioned it before you. If it is a legal thing, I understand. If not, I believe that a European server would work well for the players.

    I'm from England and i don't really care about the whole private server thing.. I think, in all honesty, it would be kinda unfair and such to ask for our own server.

    PWI will add new servers if and when -they- decide it is necessary, not us.

    i think could be really nice the opening a european server in europe after pw ms licence is over and keep their server data (ROFL rofl i know never happen but just a dream), coz was really sucks after alot promise their 0 action, admin in forum yearly do 1 post + only active gm dont have right in game;
    alot ppl burned enough much server coz every 2nd month a gm tryed keep the faith in server and said this and that will happen (ofc just words, coz in last 1year maybe was 1 gm made event what was few min long+2 exp event+1 absolute failed xmas event),in patchs view also 100% fail, helpdesk or any help from gm side also a funny part(coz helpdesk dont work, never have gm in game, also on forum the only one gm, just a free worker without knowing anything or could fix/ban anything).
    most funny when last bot banning (2,5-3month ago) still have player banned (who was banned by gm mistake only and they said unban soon, but since 3month no answer XD)

    alot european player play here (most non seriously coz timezone, this is one the biggest problem, 2nd problem coz players spent there so much time coz leveling harder in pw ms).

    I doubt ever pwi do european server and use the brighid/wodan data....could be nice but just a dream really, same like ppl thing ever will be better the pw ms, or just they have any event/patch/active gms in future XD

    few pro is only: the time zone, less heavy cash shopper, harder leveling (not everybody like the hyper exp stone), less lagg/delay.

    there is no server laag on east coast servers (dreamweaver, harshlands)
    ping is pretty good most of time

    so the only real pro i c on a new european server is
    TW and other events at reasonable times, not 2 am (3hour tw and u can hear birds singing..)


    americans log in when we log off so its constant high population on the current *mix* servers

    but i would reroll on a european server cause many friends will leave for it
    +i have better things to do at 2am on weekends :)
    on Euro Server i can haz both! b:dirty
