Power levelling. Wat.

For the love of jelly.
I mean honestly? It's bad enough when I hear somebody asking if they can be power levelled. But when they are level 20?
When they are in that "If you do your quests every day at a lax pace you will be forty within a few weeks at most" stage and they want to be power levelled? Better yet the complained when nobody offered to power level them and they wanted somebody who "knew what they were doing".
My faith. It is slowly dropping... slowly dropping........
[Before thee BHs, Hypers and all the x2 events anybody could need, people asking to be power levelled still amused me because the way EXP is dished out in this game doesn't make power levelling very easy, in the first place.

it's only because power leveling is possible now. the thing is, every1 that is high level now can abuse the system much easier and power level their own characters easier than a lowbie could find some1 willing to power level them. So it's like this one game that I played that just makes you want to say WoW (not really... but you get it), they implemented things like a friend recruiting system that linked your accounts giving you +exp% and an instance finder that automatically paired you with a group, you didn't even have to be at the instance so no time was wasted traveling or exploring, you got teleported in and out.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yeah, I fear that the number of hard working gamers dropped dramatically with the years.
Even if it was about alts getting a 'shortcut', that's pretty lame.
In fact I am pretty much jaded about PWI on this aspect...Maintenance time. Please choose a line:
- When is it over? OMG I need my fix!! *super spazzing*
- Fix the damn bugs, dammit! I'm so angry! I'll quit!!
- New codes out there? I like free stuff~ *wink*
- When will we get new content? QQ
- Will we get sales? I got a ton of gold to spend.
- I'm bored, I'll create a useless thread to annoy Opkorock.

Thing is, power levelling is already in the game and you don't need somebody to do it for you.
1 - 40 = quests. These things will level you fast if you actually bother to do them.
40 - 75 = BH, CS, and eventually, WQ
75 - 80 = BH, CS, WQ and hey, gamma if people still bother to do it
80 - 85 = BH, Hyper. 80 is the earliest time you'll get FC squads. You can also carry on doing Gamma until 85.
85 - 10x = BH, WQ, CS, Hyper
And this is not including the:
- Oracles
- Nien event
- Public Quest
Are you telling me people need to ask to be power levelled when this game lays it all out for you straight from level one?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Don't forget the stupid amount of experience you get from the TB questline starting at 40ish - that's what, 5 free levels?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

On bhs u can combine with fbs its low but it still is exp.....

Sadly, people are still not going to be satisfied until they can go from level 40 to 70 in a week. No matter how much is out there, they're still not going to be happy.0

Because most MMORPGS have some form of power leveling after being out for a year or two that allows you to go 30-70 in a week, some older RPGs can go 1-94 in a day now..
Its simple. When a game first appears there is no power leveling and there usually aren't a whole lot of people playing it either unless its a main stream game..
If there are alot of peeps playing at launch they are usually divided by servers.
Either way..when a game is run by "Donations" in PWIs case you are "Donating" for "Zen" to get "Fashion" or "Utilitys" that make your gaming experience slightly better
When a game is done like this and has been out for a while people get tired of making new characters because of how long it takes...especially the "richer" players, they don't want to take the time to do 1-100 again just because they want a new char to play, most are only playing the game for PVP aspects anyway..so for them to take a month or two to level up an archer to go pew pew people...they don't want to do it.
I admit since PWIs start leveling is easier..especially with all the 2X xp and hypers and etc they have added
but it still TAKES FOREVER..and this still cannot be called "power leveling" by any means.
As for the people who don't care for PVP aspects and actually like questing and reading the story line..those usually end up quitting once they finish one character..
As for the rest that havn't fully decided if they like the game..and are just getting to 60ish to see if its worth the time..and see its not because doing BHs every day is just boring..
The dungeons in this game aren't even that fun..its all setup, you cant just leeroy jenkins to the boss because they are ridiuclously strong but its setup to have a veno have to bait a single monster all the way thru the dungeon...which takes forever
the whole game is setup to take an extreme amount of time...peeps put 80 hrs a week into this game when they could of put 80 hrs that week into 2 jobs..
Another thing, people with jobs, like myself, work 10 hours a day 6 days a week 7am-5pm don't have time for these dungeons..(furlowing today ^^!)
When I get home..I have about 5 hours to myself. I usually do not play PWI, because it takes about 40 mins to get a squad, takes about 30 mins for everyone to get to the place, and then takes about an hour and a half to do the dungeon sometimes longer depending on the squad and players..I dont have time for this..and this is just lvl 70 BHs..I can't even imagine how long it takes 80-90 and not interested in finding out. I'd much rather spend my 5 hours shooting people in the face on BFBC2 or something else then doing 1 dungeon on PWI
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game up til the higher levels, but once you get to 55 it slows down so much its not worth what little time I have to spare.
Plus u make no money off dungeons in this game and it pretty much is the best way to level..so you have to decide on a daily basis..atleast for me..5 hours of grinding or 3-4 hours in a dungeon?
Now if I made about 100K per dungeon then maybe I would play every day with my 5 hours , cuz I didnt play for about 4 months, when I left the most expensive items were herc and pheonix...when I came back people are throwing 120 mil on 1 weapon? how do you even get 120 mil + level to lvl 95 at the same time the way the dungeons are setup? really..thats alot of money spent if they didn't grind it0 -
I would happily pay 50 gold ( not dollar but gold )to get a char to level 60 instantly.
i have leveled up a barb the old fashion way to 90, then a wiz mostly old fashion way ( 1 BH per day )
i leveled up a my BM to 95 with oracles / 3x bh / hyper.
the game doesn't really allow people to try out different end game classes to see what you really like. So powerleveling is a huge issue here. People don't wanna spend 3 months to get to a point where you can really see what your purpose in the game is
For my purpose to reach end game gear on 1 char without cash shopping i need to farm, which i'm happy to do because i know the benefits it will give me. For this i want a cleric that will heal me in solo TT's. it's either i get an option to powerlevel a char real quick for a decent price. or i quit the game.
for new players, you have plenty of option to level up. If you do quests and your daily's, you'll be level 90 within 3 month. This is what i consider a reasonable amount to start beginning on end game. in 3 months you will learn game mechanics and your class.
It's easy how people get money. I make at least 3-4 mil each day just by buying and selling 1 item.0 -

I actually haven't been asked this for some time now. It used to be a pretty regular question... some nub looking for some high level to power level some stranger for free. Since BH I haven't had anyone ask that. But, a year ago, I used to get asked that 2-3 times a week, if not more.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -

I've been about the same level for over a year cuz i stopped playing xD so im ready to shoot up in levels as fast as possible. i have friends that i was 10+ levels higher than that are 100s now b:sad[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

If I am really honest, I do have to admit that the question of "powerlevel?" used to be a lot more common.

I remembered that time when a LVL10+ archer and LVL20+ veno asked me when I was on my barb that used to be 2x-3x to plvl them while you couldn't even get exp from 12+ levels above ... Now lowbies can leech exp off of others O_O[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Hm, I've got this request for powerleveling a few times... How does it work? I don't even know how to do it, nor do I want to do it.
A few months ago I tried. I squaded with a low-level, but they got very little exp from my kills. Has this changed? Or what exactly is meant with powerleveling besides killing mobs in squad with a low-level?0 -
Yeah...sofar the "grind" of perfect world has been laughable...very laughable. I know ive only made it to lvl 71 but my god...bounty hunt, world quest, marriage quest, crazy stone, hyper stones....its nuts
It wasn't long ago when i spent like O.o two weeks of solid grinding getting from 49-50 in rising force, and the cap there is eighty @.@.
I still laugh thinking of the lvl 30 some person i saw who was proud because they hyper expd to 30 in like a day...good for you pal lol.0 -
yeah lvling is to easy these days..this alt here is living proof..took my bm like 9 months to get to 90 playing everyday..and i think this alt is like 4 months old.This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.
