Game Protection System

Will there be any proection system like GAME GUARD? I hope yes, because PW-MY doesnt have any, and there are many hackers there, its unfair for all honest player!! But truth to tell MY-PW doesnt care as long as those hackers use item mall, its really :mad: ....

    We here at Perfect World Entertainment are extremely concerned about botting and hackers. We realize how negative the impact can be not only on the economies of our worlds, but the communities as well.

    PW-MY has pretty much taken care of the bot problem, but hackers are another problem altogether. The majority of the people who got **** were **** by someone whom they entrusted their account to. If you ask me, they got what they deserved.

    Actually, noun, MYEN used a protection system... I saw it, and I'm pretty sure it was this "GameGuard".

    That's not really getting ****, that's just plain stupidity. I wonder how many people were actually broke-into-the-database-****. =/

    Well, I saw a guy that got banned for buying a +20 axe. +20 is impossible, so it was a **** item >.<. Poor guy.

    People dont get ****... Its a completely wrong term to use on those cases.

    People are stupid,share accounts,go to phishing sites or any cheating site which promises bots,jumphacks etc and thats how they lose their equips and accounts.

    IMO GM's should never ever help people like that. Automated reply:Read the ToS next time would help a lot more.

    My-EN didn't use gameguard. And i hope PW-Intl won't use it either. I had so many crashes on different PCs related to games using gameguard that i rather not play another one :(

    Besides, all gameguard does is protecting the game files from modification, not the account info.
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    Hmmm... Well, whatever it was, the logo was silver and had a G in it.

    God, well as long as it doesn't have GameGuard, I'm fine with it.

    GameGuard is by far the easiest protection system to bypass. BY FAR.

    Seeing LoLuMadSir postings, I am guessing he is some banned player who has created another new account just to troll and post worse trolling trash than a normal troll.

    I give it til the end of day for the ban on this new account to be in place.
