A lil tip 4 the GM's or whoever decides what to put in cash office

Alright so ive been watching what have been changed in each patch and for the most part it seems the entire reason we have maintenance is not for some amazing new instance or skill or just a good solid fix on the glitches. Yet the reason we have patches is so that pwe can indeed release a new item into the cash office. Of late these it seems to be rare mounts or flyers as the items of choice. And of course pwe cares about its customers so we all know they wouldn't be trying to steal more of our money but in fact have just run out of ideas to patches. So in this thread i figured id give pwe a hand and give them a few ideas on what to put in the cash office instead of making everything that we consider rare in this game attainable for 50goldb:surrender

My first suggestion and quite honestly the one i find the most important is a real honest to goodness faction bank. we have expansion stones 4 our inventory and our bank why cant we have a stone a faction leader can buy to give their faction a true bank. A bank that members can view and that the leader can decide who has privileges give and take items. Other MMO's have had this feature for years now. Yet have to make countless alts to store away our faction bank items and spend countless hours making lists of these items. Seems a bit odd dosnt it?

My second suggestion would be to release a charm that was not bound. Now i understand that this would take money away from pwe but the simple solution would be charge more for it. I no i would pay double maybe even triple for a charm i could only use for delta and take off after. b:victory

My third suggestion for this post will be human fly mounts. I get the fact that we fly on swords and what not, i can deal with that. But seriously, is it just me or do all the swords that have been released look like a variation of Urim's light to any1 else?b:surrender


My forth and final suggestion for the amazing people at pwe (that arnt in fact only interested in our money, but have just run out of ideas) goes hand-in-hand with my third suggestion. Cross-race flyer stones. Im sorry but i would give anything to be able to throw on a pair of dark lord wings 8D another simple consumable stone. one stone binds to a certain flyer and allows it to become an all-class fly mount.

    Good morning first off.

    No way they will unbound charms.

    Secondly, this is to be in the suggestions area.

    Interesting idea on the universal flying mount item but that just messes up everything. Humans with wings??

    I give you 1000+ on making a wall of text very readable this early in the morning. b:victory

    P.S. They are really only interested in our money. Keeping us happy is somewhere down the line but its there, you just got to look in the dark isles.

    Telling them to add big new features is just like telling them to add a few more hundred bugs into the game, and if it ain't affecting their income, they most likely won't fix it.

    Faction Banks leave a lot of room for QQ issues and many thousand tickets most likely being sent in for people stealing items and the such.

    i see your point although a internal faction bank works great on almost every other MMO and the basic idea is, every member can look at the items in the faction bank but only the leader, the director, and members the leader appoints have the ability to withdraw items (officers and such) If a officer steals mats then thats the faction's problem. This method seems to be alot less of a hassle then transferring hundreds of items to a alt char and only select members knowing the password to access the items. (while my faction does not give the faction banks pass out to anyone i do know of factions that do that)b:shocked

    People who create Bank Item accounts take a great risk of having that account banned and all items lost connected to it. Allowing multiple people to log into that account.

    I do support your idea for something that is a legitimate to bank items for a group of people without having to break TOS to make things easier.

    ya allowing people to access the faction bank by sharing the pass is way 2 risky. lucky for me our faction bank is on the same account as my charb:laugh account stash ftwb:victory it scares me sometimes how stupid some ppl areb:shocked

    I for one think you have some valid ideas.

    I would also even pay double to triple for a unbound charm. Yes its bound to your character but at least you can take it off when you want to do something... like dying idc >.>. But at least you wont be wasting your charm away on senseless stuff you wish you didnt have a charm on for.

    Faction Bank - Excellent idea. Precisely how you said it there. One NPC for all the factions. Leader sets prices and items. Members double click on NPC, a NPC window with all the stuff for sale comes on and viola.

    More sword mounts meh... but the all class wings, although it would be very nice, i dont think is such a hot idea...

    Do what I did... create a new account filled with chars to hold the various mats/gear etc. Then make a website with a full list. My faction can check the website via a link on our forums, then either post with their request or ask me ingame and I quickly alt to the appropriate char and trade with them. Then I just have to update the bank site every few days, which is quick and easy.

    Sure, there is some work involved, but all in all it works fine and doesn't take up much time.

    That is the current system my faction uses now, kinda. but im sorry we have alot of chars with hundreds and hundreds of items. That takes ALOT of time to keep organized and correctly itemized b:surrender
