Diamond Sutra skill is a JOKE..

I honestly do not know what the point of giving bms the diamond sutra skill was. It's a joke skill. It's useless and we can barely get a chance to use it. Easier to use maybe for bh bosses, but for normal quests, it's pretty pointless. And when we FINALLY get the spark to use it, what does it do?? Hardly nothing! It brings up the hp a teeny bit, pretty useless when luring a mob by mistake while doing a quest. Which I did and got killed after depending on that joke skill called Diamond Sutra which is um.... supposed to recover hp over time. Ok... right. Oh but for the uberly superman gamers, I forgot I'm a NOOB um maybe I "don't know how to use the skill properly". Yeh, darn me for having a life instead of gaming since I was about 4...

Anyways though, b4 i digress any further my favourite part of this Diamond Sutra thing is this: I have the spark to use it when my hp is already full. Nice one, giving bms that useless crappy skill. It would be nice if it actually was a help, not a hindrance.

This contradicted the rest of your post.

Have you played an archer? Then maybe you'd appreciate Diamond Sutra a hell lot more.

The age you started playing is hardly relevant to your gaming capabilities, as proven by your post. Then again, I guess it takes skill to make Diamond Sutra a total hindrance to you.

Edit If you are however interested in making it work...

Not true. Good for grinding (don't have to use HP Pots).
Which I did and got killed after depending on that joke skill called Diamond Sutra which is um.... supposed to recover hp over time.

Use it when your HP hits 30% depending on how fast your HP drops. HoT (heal over time) is not going to work if your max HP is so low, the instant 20% wouldn't make a difference, and you don't have the remaining HP to live long enough for the HoT to work.
Anyways though, b4 i digress any further my favourite part of this Diamond Sutra thing is this: I have the spark to use it when my hp is already full.

Then save the spark for when you finally get to use it.

Golden Bell is also a joke. I mean, 15% physical defense bonus...hardly nothing!

Heaven's Flame? 55% more damage? That's barely over the half! Useless!

Roar of the Pride? 3.3 seconds stun, big deal! It takes me 3.3 seconds just to find the attack icon!

Drake Bash? Who would want to use a spark to stun a single mob when you have a stun skill that costs 1/3 of chi cost of this skill??

Cyclone Heel, 3% speed increase, only fail mathematically disabled idiots would use this skill!

And weapon mastery? Only 6% dmg increase! What a joke!

The most useful skill a BM has is Tiger Maw. Only 3 mana to use and it's spammable!

And yet, a fister at 29 can do their quests with just that as a heal and only need to use a mana pot every 5 or so minutes at most. Stop being an idgit axer, and maybe the skill will be useful.
Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura

Get a High lvl Fist warrior use it, Restat to axes. GG - complexx

even level 1 is enough... diamond sutra is OP. and the OP must have like maybe... 1k HP? maybe thats the problem b:laugh

This BM have it maxed as much as it is, my alt BM was at level 1 before but it healed fine

I find every skill useful on BMs so far, even tiger maw, mine is maxed b:victory

BTW... Tiger maw is superb with stun lock combo, I don't see what's the problem with it

Diamond Sutra is sexy skill. If you don't have intervals this skill save ur ****. And you know why BM got this skill?

Because the main demerit of a BM is HP. This skill pretty much helps u save ur **** in PVP like situations where your charm is in CoolDown..or infact specially when you are charmless and fighting. Well there are infinite way this skill helps and it is not lame as you think it is

Just don't post things like this. Unless you want to increase you post count >.< b:bye

It is useful reguardless the level, there is a point where the heal is not worth the mana cost, I think around lvl 6-8 in there, but sage/demon more then make up for all of that in end game if you are able to pull off getting it. Personally the demon version is one of my most used skills in both TW and PVE. The crit rate boost is great for me, as I am killing with a high speed.

Even in my lower levels, it made a huge impact and change from 30+.

What r u talking about!!! Diamond sultra is one of the best skills a bm can ask forb:laugh and to know this u need to a lil higher in lvl and its got nothing to do with what age u start playin games, its only requires some common sense.
especially in duels and pvp, try beating a barb about 5 to 6 lvls higher than u without sultra and then try in with u will c the difference i promise hehe OR when ur fleeing from a lvl 100+ char in pvp, thats when sultra shines and serves its purposeb:victory

But like everyone else before me said if u leave the skill at lvl 1 then good luck using it to ur advantage b:laugh
at ur lvl a good place to use sultra is when ur fighting poison mobs that do damage over time since HA bm have low magic defence.

Go my fellow troll, you can dooo it!

On serious note, DS is just opped, by such a fair margin it`s not funny. I have leveled both barb and Archer(EA before BHs came) over the grinding/questing levels and now I`m leveling fist BM... I only need mana pots from time to time, I`ve got like 400 hp & 250 mana pots in my inventory after stash box & mob drops, haven`t bought any pots since pre 29 and my BM is lvl 45 atm. With both Archer and barb I used hellish amounts of hp pots, with BM there just is no need to buy pots, wondering if I should sell some =/.

saved my life alot times in low lv when pots was on cooldown and its nice skill cause give back 20% hp instant (same like 3 rd spark but this only 1 spark) and demon version give 105 crit near 2000hp regen, sage give 20% chance full heal half max hp what also great if u are lucky then great.:P
