Can't connect to any servers?

Err, I'm not really sure how this is happening. I'm a complete newbie to the game, you see, so I have no idea what to do.

I run on a Windows XP SP2 on a Dell Latitude D630. The game was working perfectly (probably the smoothest MMO of PW's caliber I've ever played) for about an hour and a half, but I lost a connection during a part of the game, and now I can't get on any of the servers at all.

    It is Maintenance...give it about another hour and a half.

    I figured as much since there didn't seem to be any major problems, but I didn't see a notice anywhere. Thanks, anyway.

    Yea.. I think there should be some kind of warning before maintenance. Unless there is a scheduled maintenance time? If there is a list or a certain time/date please post. Thanksb:thanks

    There are in fact many warnings in game. It's spammed over the course of a few minutes with a count down so you know that the servers are shutting down. Pay attention to what's on your screen and thou shalt be set free!

    BTW, maintenance occurs every week, Tuesday night, around 1AM server time... at least I know it does for Dreamweaver.

    yeah same here guys im not loggin into any servers atm and plus my comp keeps like the drive stops working then gets recoverd and then comes back on and does that 5 times and my comp crashes any1 having problems with tat or had them???

    I've seen that many times before, everything will freeze up, then you'll hear a click and the sound of the hard drive spinning itself back up to speed. It's the sound of your drive dying, I'm assuming its the same drive that PW is stored on so when your playing your working that hard drive pretty hard stressing it out and its repeatedly seizing up because its too worn out to handle it. I would recommend buying a new hard drive soon and backing up all the stuff on the one you are on.
    If you have another drive around already you might want to try putting it in your system and running windows and PW on it just to see if the same problem occurs in case its the system not the drive, but 9 times outta 10 if you hard drive is suddenly stopping and then spinning back up that means its on its last legs.
