? level monster

I didn't see this on the forums anywhere so I decided to post about it. I saw this monster east of Silver Pool. It was huge and had a ? where it's level should be. I sent my foxwing after it and it got pwned in one hit by an attack that did 13060 damage. What is this thing. Does anyone know?

    I dont know but I saw a monster with a ? as well just west of ancient wall.

    Okay, sorry it's a similar thread, but that wasn't exactly what I was talking about. Maybe I phrased my question wrong. When I said "what is this thing" I kind of wanted a little more information. Maybe like, why it's here, what's it's purpose. PW database isn't much help on that aspect.

    Its how the game is designed. Some monsters dont have their level listed. I think is to put some mistery into them? It happens at some bosses at HH (Holly Hall, Twilight Temple) and one boss (so far that I know) at Swamps of the wraiths.
    Its just a way maybe to make you notice that you will need a strong squad.

    or they are all lvl 150 and hence even though they have a low defense your hits hit for about 1/3 that they do (this was easy to compare today a TT boss vs teh new lvl 75 and 85 bosses for quests)
    so yah they probably are actually 150, your defense against then will suck (hence HP is so important to tank) and your attack will do a lot less compared to monsters your level with equal defense/resists

    Sigh... yeah, I ran into the one at Shattered Jade Shore while on a run to gather Crane Herb. And by "ran into" I mean "thought I'd be a stupid daredevil and try to get the herb in front of it on the off-chance it's not aggressive at all." XD

    ...so I guess it's too much to hope for that these things will be temporary additions? I dunno, something about huge Lv150 bosses parking themselves in lv30-40 areas doesn't sit right with me. >_>

    yea, i saw it 2...
    only, i dropped from heavens tear and thought "wtf"
    next thing I know, i'm being hit for 8k .... b:cry

    i think they are what ppl call world bosses, if u kill them they give nice drops but that takes a long time and u need more than a squad XD ppl usually kill them in guilds (bigger version of squad XD) it's more for the fun and faction events as far as i've noticed :s

    i hope i am not wrong (if so i apologise^^) and that this helps^^

    I also like how only one person in this thread could actually clarify a level ? monster is actually a level 150 monster.
