Which Class besides the Barb is the best to Pair up with a Cleric?

I dont like to play Barbs, it takes tooo long to kill Something,
so i wonder with which character is better to play, who will be a good pair in battle with a Cleric (my friend).

Pls give me a nice advice b:thanks

Any class would complement a cleric nicely but a good class would probably be a BM, sin and archer. Having a Bm or sin partner is useful if the cleric got into any trouble as bm and sins have stuns and the ability to somewhat tank.

I used to aoe grind with a couple of different bms, it was awesome (back in the day when grinding on training eso could be considered "awesome"). Also, fish grinding on the lvl 88 ultrafin supremes is good with any ranged class, archer included. Assassins are probably good for the same reason bms are, but I haven't tried it.

I say BMs. They have lots of AoEs, and a fair amount of HP for you to heal.

i love working with archer and wizards they kill quick and u rarely have to heal them ._.' really it depends on the player u are with (we are just talking about regular mobs right? not bh mobs?)

Its all the same, clerics works well with all classes, maybe except venos.

A BM partner is the most common due to the fact that a BM can dish out tons of damage later on with interval gears and is able to tank end game bosses making a BM/cleric couple perfect in farming TTs and stuff. And bms ahve tons of aoe, perfect grinding partner

A barb partner is quite common too because a cleric is normally in danger because of a careless barb(barb doesnt cancel aoe, barb didnt grab aggro) so having a barb/cleric couple allows the 2 to at least guarantee most things will go well in their bh/fb/tt or so on.
And there are cases of fail clerics too so abrbs would be more comfortable if they knwo the cleric.

Archer and sins are good too because like BMs, they can somewhat tank at end game.

Cleric and cleric is kinda fail imo. Normally squads wouldnt want 2 clerics unless its for bh or other simpler things

Psychic and wizard dont really offer much to a cleric. Wizard can seal, psychic can stun in emergencies(wizards stun is too slow so im omiting it

)

I would say bm would fit what you want nicely. My hubby plays a sin and i party with him quiet a bit on my cleric and hes really not to hard to keep alive, and things hit the floor rather fast.

Just anything but a veno

you wont get to do much healing as we rarely get hit

Clerics can support any class, though we're somewhat wasted on Venomancers. For end-game I'd recommend a blademaster or assassin, simply because then you'll be able to duo instances to farm Twilight materials or Nirvana stones.
Archers could potentially do so with fists, but not as effectively. Fist-barbarians work too at lv.99+.

Bms are the best for the aoes skills, damage and defense, they can hold a lot of mobs and kill he very fast until you heal he and help with your razor feathers, you can finish a long quest of kill a lot of mobs in few minutes with a good bm.

BM's are really cool as Clerics partners.
I've been in TT2-1 squad mode with 3 Venos and it was perfect team I ever been before in mine opinion. Also, when I got squad with Psy for regular quest killing melee ground mobs, and she launched her Red Tide on them while I did air heal-support, she killed at least 20 mobs in a less than 2 min and I spent more or less than 5 IH on her, we were lvl 60+, was GREAT!
I like whichever class who can play well.

BMs

My gaming partner, ingame husband, and now irl boyfriend is a BM and has been since I met him a year ago. The AOE grinding is so much fun, and when we have FB69/79, we duo'd.

I've squad with both a Barb and a BM before. BMs definitely have better mob control capabilities - they can stun, have at least 2 AOEs if they're axe BMs, and if they have decent damage the mobs don't take long to drop. On top of that they have Diamond Sutras to fall back on if they're in a pinch.

BMs who know how to AOE and stun are made of win.

from my experience cleric - bm pairs are most efficient, we take turns tanking and there arent many things we arent able to take on

cleric + archer / sin: ok for grind, but there are bossess bm can tank that la cannot
barb + cleric is nice but in that pair cleric is main dd, actually best pair for barb ive seen was wizard - way higher damage output than cleric and for vit build barb wizzy heals can be enough even for most bossess
cleric + wiz / psy: yes for grind and mag bossess, but no-no for phys bossess... unless you dont mind charm burn and high repair bills
cleric + veno: i feel so out of place when whole set of my skills is completely useless b:cry

Also, BB for venos who cannot stand drummer aoe or even RB in order to allow them to do bosses they wouldnt be able to do without the channeling bonus.

But those cases are very situational .__.

But as a cleric, I appreciate all the lending hands I've received so cleric/veno pairing do complement each other, somewhat.

i didnt say i cant pair up with veno... if you know what you are doing team veno + cleric can do very well, and finish very fast too ^.^
but from all classess venos need clerics the least, and thats that. yes they like our buffs, yes rb helps them heal pet, yes bb can save veno herself (himself?) from aoe, yes cleric can serve as decent dd / debuffer... but its just Not The Same as with bm or kitty b:cry

Pretty sure veno is the one you should pair with.....
1. veno will kill faster with rb
2. veno will stay alive an solo even better if she dont need to worry about aoe
3. The veno will not require your constant attention an so you can actually think about attacking something yourself.
4. oh an with a few heals here an there will make the veno never run out of magic due to soul transfusion
5. last but not least important- it will not cost you the cleric nearly as much repair bill pots charms etc....If you pair with a good veno

Which one is better for killing bosses or doing TT? (with a cleric ^^ only)

it is nice, but in the game, there are too many venos that are tend to do solo rather than pair with a cleric. Not all venos of course. But many BMs ask nicely to us clerics to pair with them even only for AoE grinding.

we, (my cleric ingame-wife and me :P)
try to time Ice Dragon and Tempest on stuff, fun

we aoe-grind both magical and physical mobs in large numbers fast >.>
+she as cleric can sit down and recover mana while i go on killing stuff with 50% mana pool b:chuckle

oh wtb demon celestial guardian seal for 0 cost couple grinding

on the downside for the wizard
when squadding bh with other clerics, u miss the heal that is always in-before-tick b:sad

At your level I would go with the bm. Once an assassin starts to get good gear, however, there isn't much they can't handle that a bm would be able to.

well, my RL bf is an assassin and i run a cleric, so far we have had no problems, and the two of us went through the FB 19's of untamed and winged elf alone yesterday, me at lvl 43 him at 41. yes i realize that is probably not a great thing to most of you, but i thought it was. Never done that b4. ^^ take that as you will. cleric - assassin combo isnt so bad
