Names don't show up..... at medium distance

I can only see peoples name if I put my cursor over them or they are really close. Any idea why?

    sometimes when you switch between best performance and normal mode some of he settings don't return to normal. checked your distance settings.. ?

    That's normal. (Or at least it does this with me too)

    It sucks how you can't increase the name tag display distance....so you have to hover your mouse cursor just to see who it is. b:surrender
