Help?

ok...sorry if i sound a bit dumb but i can't figure it out lol... My friend is trying to give me a certain amount of healing potions but we can't figure out how.. it keeps wanting to put all of them up in the trade and i only want a few. how can we trade just a few rather than all of them..?

    this had me stumped for longer than i like to admit.

    when you drag the items over, hold down the ALT key. once you finish the alt-click-drag a dialog will open up asking how many you want to move over.

    Maybe you can give all, then drag some back, and at certain times (I am not sure...) it will say: "How much?" to take out.

    Orrrr he can just alt click like the above poster said. Since that's the way you split up stacks.
