Do Psy's get MP problems on higher lvls?
I just got to lvl 5 b:victory and I still 1 hit everything so its not a problem yet.

If needing to use pots is a problem... yes? But yuanxiao will always keep up with your mp demands, whether it's sesame or herb, so you'll be fine as far as mp use.Main:

^ This.
Being charmed does wonders also.
Our MP drain can be a pain if you're cheap or poor, but every magic class suffers from this to some extent. Physical-damage classes have the advantage of being able to spam normal attacks if they run out of MP (and with enough interval gear they can do more DPS with normal attacks anyway). But, magic casters are pretty much always reliant on spells.0 -
I'm level 44, and I can go for about 15-30 mobs (depending on resistance) before I hafta rest, and on bosses, I do run out more than say, a wiz, but is it a problem? Not really. Two words. Spirit Charm. Even a weak one is nothing to sneeze at (150k MP in it), and is only 80 silver. Lasted me about a week of continuous play. So if 80 cents is too much for "unlimited" mp, then just use pots. Also, don't feel bad, you're a mage class. You're GOING to run outta mp eventually. lol My best advice is also to increase your damage in any way possible. Mostly M.Atk and such. Remember: More damage dealt per cast = less mp used to kill it.
Happy Psyching!0 -

Mp charms are unneccessary and will drain your wallet due to the drain of SoV/SoS being nothing near as bad as Plume Shell for a cleric... It's so much cheaper to use Yuanxiao and these pots can cover every spell you can throw down even at 50 channeling with all spells sage/demon... 900k=1 gold mp charm(4 gold)=180 sesame Yuanxiao(<1 gold:12 tokens for 200 yuanxiao and you don't have to use them if you're recovering naturally) Worst time for Mana usage (in rb when you grab everything) is the only possible time you might use mana faster than yuanxiao can keep up with (aside from when manadrained) and you'd be wasting so much charm keeping the mana up in these situations, one where you're trying to lose aggro and the other when you're trying to purify yourself or waiting on a cleric if you don't know what Psychic Will does...
Of course, the lower level Herb Yuanxiao is a little harder to come across now... So I guess the above only applies at 75+Main:

Personally, my MP Charms disappear after two hours, so it's just a waste. Around levels 15-20 is when you'll notice a big rise in mana consumption. As long as you keep an eye on your MP bar in combat, you're good to go.0

I blow through 100-200 pots per day. I use those NPC bought pots. One that heals 1250MP over time and another that heals 910MP over time.
It's not a problem at all.Lonely man with a big heart.0 -
climb on a tree
meditate
drink a glas of water

you dont have to play 24/7 and a break every now and then is good for you anyway
pots while grinding? no thnx0 -
ya at 75+ go with event pots but at lower lvls go with apoth pots these save money if you make them and are far better then npc pots0

Wow that's a huge waste of money. Before 75, I would just use apothecary pots. make the ones that heal 50 or 100MP per second and use with any pots that drop. If you're still running out, it doesn't hurt to just meditate a bit. Takes about 2 minutes to regain all MP.
After 75, herb yuanxiao is the way to go. Buy tokens and use them for these event pots. Even at 15k per token, that's only 45k for 50 pots that heal for 5k MP each. Way cheaper than NPC pots and definitely cheaper than charm.0 -

Well I don't know what else to do. I heard of these event pots, but I don't know where to get them.
And I don't like meditating too much.
Basically when I fall below 3,600MP(6580max) I pop pots. Though lately, I've let it get to 2500 before using some. It does not take very long to run out of MP..maybe 10-12 mobs tops.
I don't use MP charms.
100 of those lvl60 pots run me about 82,000 and the one for 1250MP overtime is 120,000.
The average coin I make from drops is around 56,000-90,000.
It's not a problem for my wallet but I wont lie and say I have not been trying some alternatives.Lonely man with a big heart.0 -

If you can burn out a charm in only two hours, you're either using the weakest charms you can find, or your kill strategies (or build) need serious rethinking. Anything below gold charm is a bad investment if you paid for it; if you cant afford those (or platinums whenever possible) then definitely go without charms, imo.0 -
You get the event pots (3500HP/10secs or 5000MP/10secs) from the PW Boutique Agent. One is next to the Banker in West Archosaur. Open her up, select "Gift Exchange", then go to the "Luck" tab. You'll find the pots there.0

I kind of figured so. Thanks a lot.Lonely man with a big heart.0
