Are you able to get past the login screen or can you not load into the actual game? If you've done all the necessary updates, then I see no reason why you should be having connection issues. I have had trouble before logging in, but that was because I couldn't remember my login information.

My suggestion to you is to start up the splash screen (where you see the red/orange Start button). At the very top of the window, you should find the Verify option. Another window will appear and ask to continue with the verification. Click Yes and let the client run it's course. You could have a missing file somewhere. This may fix your connection problem.

I've got that same problem, when I try to log in, it says 40 seconds until timeout, and it counts to 21 then says cannot connect to server. The weird thing is, when I look at the server list, it doesn't even show the population or anything. I've already done the verify thing on the launcher.. I reinstalled, did the verify thing again, still won't work.

    Any suggestions?

If you're timing out, then it sounds like you may have issues with your internet connection. Check and see if that is the problem. Under a Vista operating system, right click the two computers with the globe above them in the lower right corner of your screen. Select "Diagnose and Repair." If you're running XP it should still be fairly similar.

I have absolutely no problems with my internet connection. I've tried several different connections.

    But thanks for the input.
