Level box thing

I just reached level 25 and opened the box. The box disappeared and gave me no item.
What happened to it and what do I do?

    Make sure you have
    A: Space in your inventory (2 is usually enough)
    B: Space in your quest list (1 is usually enough)

    You should have gotten a Shard item to return in to choose from a number of different shards.

    Then make room, you should theoretically get the reward.
    EDIT: Ninja'd
    And also, I think you would get a message like "Quest list full" or something if your quest list is full, so it's probably the lack of space in your inventory
