Have fun trying to get them for free....because you won't. Except from quests.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thank you so much ForsakenX for the sig b:cute0 -
When you gain a sizable amount of coins, go to the player shops (a.k.a. cat shops) and purchase them from there. Be prepared to spend some of your hard earned fortune, though. Depending on the charm, they can be rather expensive. The cheaper route, if you so choose, would be to acquire them from the boutique.0

If you kept your trial weapon (obtained from General Chugnov when beating the Ocean Tusker), you could trade it with General Summer for a HP charm.
Other races than tideborn have the chance of getting another for free after one of the earliest quests, named Initiative (basically getting an item in a sadistically high-placed treasure chest, quest that is 5-minute limited).Maintenance time. Please choose a line:
- When is it over? OMG I need my fix!! *super spazzing*
- Fix the damn bugs, dammit! I'm so angry! I'll quit!!
- New codes out there? I like free stuff~ *wink*
- When will we get new content? QQ
- Will we get sales? I got a ton of gold to spend.
- I'm bored, I'll create a useless thread to annoy Opkorock.
- *Incessant poking on Sweetiebot* Fun~0 -
what the above posters said. you get one or two charms for free, as an introductory thing to get you hooked on using them, but after that the game expects you to pay for them in the cash shop.
personally i got to hating the things. they effectively reduced my HP, because i'd feel almost as bad if i let them tick down as if i'd actually gone and died --- except it's MUCH easier to accidentally tick a charm than it is to die. i ended up playing MORE carefully and defensively charmed than not, to the point where it began to annoy me. your mileage may vary.
i understand they're basically mandatory in a few higher-level instances and challenges, as well as in TW. but i'm nowhere near those things, as yet, and quite happy that i'm playing charmless on all my toons. don't even know how a veno would go about playing with a charm, i rely WAY too much on soul transfusion; it'd be ticking constantly.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Heaven's Tear alts: KenLubin, Sou_Hon, JudyCaraco --- level 5x chars.0 -

well, you're level 23... what weapon are you using? possibly the one you got from the lvl 19 challenge dungeon? if not, hopefully you at least still have it, am i right?
get a replacement for it, something at least as good or better. perhaps the supply stash level 20 one, or maybe something from the auction house, unless you're lucky enough to get the mold from the first weapon token quest. equip this replacement weapon, whatever it is --- double-check that it's good enough that you're happy with it.
then take the trial weapon to general summer, and you can trade it in for one charm. you won't ever get the trial weapon back, mind, but you'll get to try a charm.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Heaven's Tear alts: KenLubin, Sou_Hon, JudyCaraco --- level 5x chars.0 -
