K, ecatomb.net says this

Demon version has cooldown reduced by 1 second and always succeeds. http://www.ecatomb.net/pwi/skillwr.php

So does that mean it succeeds even against bosses? What about Sins using Maze Step or BMs using Will of Boddhisatva?

Thanks for the answers b:bye

No, it won't stun mobs, bosses or players that have immunity to stun. On mobs and players that do not have immunity, it will always stun them.

Not sure how this is confusing.

Demon roar always hits when demonized. Which means it will not miss when hitting targets.

Stun immunes or other abilities will allow the target to resist and not be stunned.

Or another way, just because you shoot a guy, doesn't mean it will go through a bullet proof jacket. It's still a hit, but the defense prevents the desired effect from happening.

Get a High lvl Fist warrior use it, Restat to axes. GG - complexx

This ^^. If I'm correct, Focused Mind has a 50% chance to resist negative effects.

The only time it will miss is when someone moves out of range of the Roar. Meaning the skill effect will go through the channeling, but will miss upon casting because the enemy is no longer in range.

BMs that know what I mean will often use the leap forward/back tricks to evade Roar of Pride.

Other than that, ^ refer to what was stated above.

Maybe you remember when your Roar of Pride was lvl1 it missed quite a few times and had no effect on the mob. As you level up the skill the chance for the mob not to be stuns decreases but even at lvl10 although it is rare the stun still occassionaly misses. Happened to be a couple of times in PvP which is annoying and can happen in TW when your stunning like 20 people at once maybe only 18 of these people will be stunned while 2 escape. With Demon roar it completly gets rid of chance to miss so even if u had 100 ppl around you if you used roar of pride it would stun every single person.

It doesn't change anything else such as being able to stun Bosses, stun people immune to stun etc. It's main use IMO is for TW so you wont miss ANYONE :)

    Hope I explained it b:victory

....I'm sure this made more sense in your head; but did you just say the skill won't hit people that aren't in range, and state we missed mentioning that? I mean, really?

Did you know if they forget to press the button, everyone evades the stun?

I'm sorry, it was just so messed up, it kept bugging me not to razz that post. b:chuckle

EDIT: And honestly, anyone who doesn't know that the skill will not take effect until after the channel phase has learned nothing in any of the instances they've played in. They would be of a skill level so low, anything over inarticulate grunts is incomprehensible to them anyways.

In my opinion, if you are channeling roar and your target moves out of range while roar goes into cool down I would consider that a miss as everything completes as if the skill was used. You lose mana, your skill goes into cool down and you lose chi. So I think what Dan said is correct as when you started channeling the target was in range. Obviously if you click roar when your target is 15m away it won't stun them.. but that's common sense.

Yes, that's what I meant.. When the enemy is in range, and you press the skill to being channelling your roar.. if they move out of 5 meter range during that .6 channel time, it'll miss.

I loved doing that to bms as a wiz ( even more doing it to barbs when they tried to arma b:dirty , although it was harder to pull off since arma's faster ) . Works well with leaps instead of distance shrink too and what do you think some noobs say ?

    The usual thing I used to get as a kitting class : "OMG NAB ! Y U RUN ?!? asdasdaf /rageeeeee . " :P Priceless b:pleased

I think its reffering to roars occasional failure to stun. Anything unstunnable before that i'm sure will remain that way.
