Hello. I was wondering what the best build was for Phychic's and what is the best way to go.

Thank you for your time!!!

Go Pure Strength and throw your Soulsphere at your enemies.

Might need some dex to actually hit them, though.

There is no true best build, but there is common sense that must come into play with builds.

For example, for PvE - it's ok to do either 1/1/8, 2/1/7, 3/1/6 or 1/9

However 3/1/6 is gonna require you to refine your weapon more. And I find that the more you grind, the more it feels that you always need to refine to get stronger.

For PvP - think about HP here because magic will only get you so far on a PvP server I think.

For PVE and PVP versatility I would personally add 1 STR, 1 VIT 8 MAG every 2 lvls (or just add 1 VIT, 4 MAG every odd lvl and 1 STR, 4 MAG every even lvl). Stop adding stat points to vit once it reaches 50. Leave DEX at 5. I use this build and it gives me enough HP to survive a couple of blows without nerfing my damage too much.

For PvE or PvP, pure magic (1 STR, 9 MAG every 2 levels) is always the most effective build if your funding and raw player skill both support it.

If not, then you'll want a small amount of VIT.

Never add DEX, never wear Light Armor. Light Armor is a Psychic's fail attempt at being a Wizard who lacks Stone Barrier, and therefore can't ever make LA worth the trouble of the damage loss. The added crit is ****, because you can get enough crit adds from gear later anyway, without sacrificing your base damage potential; which ultimately means the arcane psychic's crits will hit harder anyway.

Actually LA psys arent a failed attempt. I made an LA psy and I have been doing fine, I take more damage than "glass cannons" and can still do a good amount of damage.

I agree with Reshanta in that there is no build that is objectively "best". It always boils down to what meshes well with your personality and playing style.
