    Rubberbanding is lag where you see yourself running forwards, and will snap backwards to an earlier point. As in, stretching a rubber band out, and then watching it snap back. Happens often if you have a bad connection.

    No people no, they're not up yet, and they will not be until a GM posts here that they're working. So do something productive with your time, or just poke your nose.

    it's where u go to land, or jump off a mountain, and bounce back and forth like a rubberband. speaking of which, in Raging tides.... dont' try to run around the platform the elder's on unless your'e female or got wings to escape. You'll spend 20 minutes rubberbanding every inch trying to get to the front (the north or NW edge). I did that trying to just jump off instead of runing back down and out the gate... kept bouncing back and forth for like half an hour >.<

    Usuaally it's just u rebound once or twice landing... or jumping off a mountain. When that happens u stop moving, then tap a direction key to fall back down. but that **** in RT city was horrendous and there was no escape.... I was only like 10 and no town portal wasn't up yet either. not to mention this was on my male sin...

    Ok, I get that mostly when I jump off high places and it takes a while to land. It rubberbands at least 3 times b:sad

    Um Rubberbanding has nothing to do with lag. It's a glitch or bad programming in certain pathing situations, like landing, or jumping/sliding and jumping down mountains. If u tihnk u see rubberbanding in other situations (aka while flying (WITHOUT landing), running on a flat surface).... that's more likey your connection blows and / or your'e freezing up, then your connection catches up to the game and u (and everything around you) bounce around till you're in sync.
