Genie Skills

Okay guys so I am new to this game and I just got a genie.I put 1 point into my fire affinity and I tried learning explosion.The guy kept on telling me to place my genie in a little square,but I can't take off my genie so what am I supposed to do?

    Put genie in inventory so it's not equipped.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    Try placing the genie in your inventory before placing it in the square.

    Just open up your inventory window and either drag it from the upper "equipped gear" part down to the "unequipped inventory" part, or just left-click on it. Then you can drag it from there up to the "Learn Genie Skill" window.

    Can't take off your genie? Try to take it off before u talk to the NPC.

    Also, if you are Barbarian or Venomancer, you cannot remove gear while in animal form.
