Fake Bidding

can we get a gm or mod response on what fake bidding actually is? if one person all alone in his faction bids the minimum on a land that no one else was going to attack anyway, is that fake bidding? some people just like to have a little fun in game why **** us over for something simple like this?

    Go think what advantages you as a rich faction that holds multiple lands may gain from bidding on yourself.

    how about what disadvantages me as a poor faction who just wants to do a tw for fun? if i was outbidding other factions to get at a land that i couldn't win anyway that would be understandable to be banned for. i bid against the strongest faction near the end of the bid process on a land no one else was bidding on, just so it wouldn't interfere with anyone else if they wanted to bid.

    Fake bidding

    Imagine this.
    You are the owner of a faction owning 3/4s of the TW map. You are limited to being attacked 3 times each week.

    Now if you bid on your land on an alt account, lets just say... 3 times... You don't have to do a TW that week! You keep all the money in the faction and win win win.

    That is why it is bannable.

    Um... actualy it's just 3 wars per time slot, A faction can have like 30+ wars in one weekend.

    9x sage barb with 19k hp its fun to see how long it can take to kill me.

    on the bending rules thing Olba, i went through the entire ToS after i recieved the email and was told it was for fake bidding. the ToS doesn't mention fake bidding let alone explain what it is. the only thing i could understand it maybe being under is

    "(n) Take any action that disrupts the Service or that negatively affects or may prohibit other users from enjoying the Website, the Games or any other aspect of the Service."

    although since i was the only one attacking the strongest faction i can't see how it would in anyway "negatively affect other users from enjoying the game". if i was a lvl 30 character with 49 other lvl 30 characters attacking the same faction would i still get banned? no, even though 90% of the defending faction could one shot my entire faction in that case and hence would have no chance at all of losing. but since im a single player in my very own faction who has a much better chance of winning then the 50 lvl 30 characters ever would, i get banned.

    discussions of bans on the forum are prohibitted and will lead to .. guess what.. a forum ban lol

    basically when you sign up to the game you agree to let PWE make up whatever rules they like - it is their intellectual property after all. They do not have to spell out every single infraction that can be commited via their terms of service.

    if you have an issue - raise a ticket. now stop QQ and gtfo.

    sent a ticket, no response. alt account don't care if they ban it. if they make up rules they should at least post them. how hard is it to update the ToS? open, edit, save, post. wait you're right way too difficult.

    Go ahead and bid if you really want to. There is no one stopping you from doing that especially if what you are saying is true.

    PWI is notorious for being unclear about these rules and then just making them up as they go while passing out bans. Just another example of horrible customer service on PWI's part.

    Common sense should tell you that PWE can ban you for whatever reason or no reason at all, at any time they please.

    It's not about the "who's going to have a better chance at winning", it's about the "hey this faction with only one member bidded on a land in TW". Anyone with a brain would know that if there's only a single person bidding on a land in TW, either they're going to pull off something dumb, such as "HEY LOOK AT ME GETTING MY **** KICKED, IT'S ME VS ALL OF THE OTHER FACTION!" or it's someone doing something shady.

    And of course, the ToS won't tell you what "fake bidding" is, as the ToS is a legal contract, it obviously cannot contain specific terms such as "fake bidding", as the ToS is pretty much consistent across all the PWE games for obvious reasons.
