Hello,

At this stage I have only made it to level 12, so I assume it is not to late to start asking a questions.

I have read Lyndura's_Blademaster_Class_Guide, which I think made me more confused..

To date I have just gone around and selected the best weapon etc for my level.

But after reading the BM Guide I just got confused.

How do I pick a path. What are the things I should learn and read?

    You're doing fine. Just restat out the magic in the future. BM's don't need any points in there.

    Yes, you can buy a reset scroll from the cashshop. The cheapest one, the one you'll need to reset your magic, will cost at least 3 gold. Three gold on Lost City will cost you around 1.5mil, but I don't know the gold prices in yours.

    having 5 extra in magic isn't gonna hurt you meantime - don't hurry to restat yet.

    enjoy the small mp boost and mag def it gives you for the moment.

    I have putted my stats this way>

    i stopped my vit at 45, my magic is 35 (cuz I also did it wrong when I started it's around 1700 MP now), I have uhmmm around 285 str and uhhh 112 dex

    I do it like this now every lvl 3str and 2dex and once in a while (when I was lower lvl) every 2 lvls 3str 1dex and 1vit (till your vit is 45~50)

    the rest of the vit should get higher with shards in armors and on weapons I have physical att. shards.

    I'm gonna save my money now so that I can lower the magic stats and put it somewhere else.

    and I'm al Heavy Armor and try to follow two paths > sword/blade (just because they look cool xD) and axe/hammer. I mostly go with my blade except in squads then I use my axe cuz axe have more aoe attacks so it hits more mobs and at boss I switch to blade cuz right now it does more damage then my axe cuz I have sword and blade mastery skill at lvl 10 and for axe I'm still stuck at lvl 7 but soon It'll be 10 too :)

    on weapons you'll only want physical att. shards and nothing else. I have on all my armor HP shards my HP is around 4000 now

    Good Job, I see you're up to lvl 25.

    BM section seems to have the worst problems with trolls, and you haven't even met Yulk yet.

    Tanks are characters that can sit and take a beating from a boss and hold the focus (aka aggression, hate, or most commonly used "aggro"). Aggro is made up of who does the most damage or skills that cause increased aggro. Barbs are the ideal tanking class because they have skills that grab aggro, boost their hp, and boost their defenses. However, modern pwi players damage is so high people rip aggro from them even using their skills.

    Now alot of people prefer BMs to tank at high levels because of our high amount of damage and our heavy armor gives us good defense. We have less vitality but it is usually enough.

    Resets are in the cash shop for 3 gold (1 gold = 1$) and in sanctuary server it can be bought around 400k each. Don't worry about it for a long time.

    How you stat your character is based on the gear you'd like to use. For instance an axe requires 3 str and .5 dex per level.

    Axe- 3 str /.5 dex
    Poles - 2.5 str / 1 dex
    Sword - 2 str / 1.5 dex
    Fist 1.5 str / 2 dex

    And each path gives 1.5 extra stats to place wherever you want. Highly recommended to have at least 2 paths. My personal preference is all 4 paths using 3str / 2dex / base vita / base magic.

    Aaaactually, magic does give you a bit of magic defense, just like strength gives you physical defense. That's why you still have a teeny tiny bit of defense when you take off all your armor. But it's so little that it really doesn't matter either way.

    Actually you're right. I pwcalc'd it, for every 4 stat points in either vit or mag, you get 1 point of mdef. Either way, it's insignificant. 400 points towards either stat brings your mdef from 2 to 101, same with vit.

    OK.. Now this is quality information.. And I thank you for taking the time to post..

    I think I will aim at axe, as it seems this is the way I am currently heading..(Think)

    So Tanks. What level can you get them and how do you get them?

    I have been slowly swapping out gear that has +5 magic etc for +pdef.

    I will take another screen shot of my stats and hope you can guide me further in the right direction

    Tank refers to the role a character plays in a party. you don't get one.

    Roles in party


    Tank - Barbarian is the games default tank class. Blademasters can tank at times. And some Venomancers pets can tank. Depending on boss others may step in to fill role.

    Healer - cleric

    Damage Dealer - DD classes Wizard, psychic, assassin, blademaster, archer, veno

    dont set anything on magic a bm isent made for thad but set alot on stengt couse you whill need it you cut set 3 on strengt 2 on dex til you hit lvl 30 when you go lvl again when your like lvl 31 or higher then you got to set your points each lvl like this 2 on strengt 2 on dex 1 on vit thads how a bm shut do if you do thad from lvl 1 to lvl 100 you cut be one of the best in the worldb:victoryb:laugh

    The purpose of the class forum is to share information and ocationaly mess around and write yuri fanfiction, nvm that last one is only archers. Either way its better to let em know now rather than have another fail bm. Plus i dont see how saying "your wrong" is mean.

    On the other hand saying "Your a waste of life go kill yourself" is mean, and funny (yes i am bored)
