I started playing PW last year and quit soon after, thinking I wouldn't go back on.
Well today I decided why not? As I redownloaded the game.

Well, I wasn't too happy when I saw that my character's hairstyle has changed. I dont know what happened because I have not changed her appearance because I made her to look like my alter ego. This hair is very different from what I had before. It was long and wavy when I first created her. It's still long but it has this strange loops and a bun thing in the back of her head. Can someone tell me what happened?

Same happened to me. What happened?

Don't know, some Dev's playpet Photoshopping?
They want to **** us off so we buy Cash Shop wigs?

Submit a support ticket with screenshots and
ask them to extend you a makeover scroll.

I did that and got the change on one char.

Not your fault the hairstyle was changed
and they should make good on it.

Hope the forum trolls don't slam you the way
they did to me when I asked about this same issue.
    If so just ignore them.

    Good luck! :-)

Having a high post count doesn't make you anything in the game.
Unless you're attempting to kiss up to a GM and you KNOW what that makes you

    Yeah, I know what happened.

In the character creation editor, a few of the hairstyles didn't match the thumbnail image for the hairstyle, so when the Rising Tide patch came out they fixed that problem. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you liked the change), they fixed it by changing the hairstyle, instead of changing the thumbnail for the hairstyle. Likely this was a long-time bug that was meant to be implemented that way originally, however due to how long it took them to get around to fixing it they probably should have fixed it the other way around.

Anyways, due to this fix some people ended up with hairstyles that they didn't like, so if you had one of those hairstyles you could submit a ticket and get issued a Makeover Scroll so you could fix the problem.

Hope that helps clear things up! :-)
