Bad Lag/ Lagging Out

Is there any way I can stop the lag in this game? It always seems like there is a delay time from the time i press an attack button to the time my character does the attack. Please help I'm sick of this lag :(

    Also, how much "lag" do you actually have? MMO"RP"Gs always have a bit of lag; I don't even notice it anymore unless it's "higher than usual".

    What kind of internet connectivity are we talking about? Any networking activities besides Perfect World?

    get another ISP


    stop using WLAN, or move near the Router

    Same for me, but it usally only happens in dungeons. And what i understand so do they have all servers in USA so then we from Europe get high ping :/

    i had a quite decent gaming spec laptop with dual core 2.4Ghz processor, 8Gb RAM, 256mb graphics with my ADSL2+ internet and got hella lag in the game.

    recently upgraded to desktop quad core 3ghz processor, 12Gb RAM, 1024mb graphics with same internet connection, voila, lag gone.

    i'm guessing it's more the graphics card than the rest of it. anyway, i can run the game at max settings now with little to no lag in west arch.

    well im running 8 gigs ddr2 4 tera bite hard drives AMD Phenom quard core + a ati radeon and running windows vista 64 bit with system pack 2 + norton and norton dont affect pwi .

    And to mention it's like the screen or some say frames freeze to a point where u can move but cant use your skills but everythingf around you froze then bang it catches up your dead happen to me in delta this morning even used my new video cam put it in youtube .

    That right there will show how bad the lagg is another reason as a computer tec i build and repair computers all the time also do net working installing running servers etc if theres like 10 squads just say ok all in that same cave or fcc delta or a lot of players in one spot what it does is choking it cause lagg .

    and thats why archo is so lagging to many people in one area choking it to the point that it's laggy but dont take my word for it also the game engine it self have to look at that or software issues.

    I even had people tell me that pwi was so laggy it caused there pc to crash i dont know how true it is but i did see on my pc it can cause some issues knocking me out of game as server error or dc.

    What every online game needs now and again upgrades to improver it have tecs on the clock over looking the game with the money thease games pull in every day i dont see why they cant do that.

    i worked in a place that ran seval computers in 2 buildings and had servers my job was to make sure everything was working the way it should and if 1 pc got infected it can spread to other computers so my jb was not easy was on call a lot .

    But in any case i put 2 short videos on youtube and yes any one can get mad it depends also on weather to that can affect enternet but as i said i play other games online even play in a thunderstorm and still it dont affect my pc or the game im playing.

    And if you are still lagging, try to play in lowest settings (best performance button).

    tebone6, if you were more specific on what is your problem and how we could help, maybe it could be a good start. Right?

    have the same problem and seems my main reason for living this game, got cable witgh computer right beside router 4 Gig RAM, 1Gig graphic card windowds 7 enterprise, 250 Gig hard drive almost empty and playing the game in the lowest resolution and lags terribly, I play on the same computer GW, AO, RoM and never had a problem.b:angry
