Up until level 9, I've been using this build: 4 dex 1 str every level. Now that I'm 10, i'd like to use a new build which is either...
First build:
4 dex 1 str Even Levels
3 Dex 1 Str 1 Vit Odd levels

Second Build:
3 Dex 1 Str 1 Vit Every Level

Do any of these builds work to be able to wear the latest gear and weapons for your level?
If so, which build is better?

The first build gives you more survivability but at the expense of damage, it makes the fight go for longer, and as an upper level sin you want it to be as short as possible.

Again second build little more hp but less damage.

They both work its just 4 dex 1 str is widely recommended. If u refuse this one use the first

    ^What he said.

Main reason I stick with pure dex is so that bloodpaint will heal better. The difference won't be that big until higher levels and you'd only lose 5% crit going with a vit build (3% with hybrid).

I suppose a benefit of a vit or hybrid build would be that double/triple spark will heal more HP and since a sin can pretty much constantly double spark at 59 then it should make up for the loss of BP (which wouldn't be that much in the first place). Sparks a based on weapon damage so the bonus from dex wouldn't be as great a factor when DDing on bosses either (as opposed to multiplying your p.atk directly) bit it'll be noticeable.

I'd go with pure dex if you plan to reach endgame and refine/shard your gear (although I do get jealous whenever I see the HP of vit sins in BH squads I join).

It's pointless to add in Vit. You may feel squishy now, but that's because you're low level. When you get higher level gear, with sockets, refines, and +vit, you'll want to restat to pure Dex again, and that's stupidly expensive. I've never put a single point of vit in any of my characters, and I've never regretted it.

buying a single 50 point reset is nothing compared to the price of end game gear.

OP: if you use anything other than pure dex, try the first one ( 7 dex 1 vit 2 str every 2 levels)

it will let you take an extra hit or 2 from mobs while questing while not costing you much in damage at the lower levels. end game you really should go pure dex but that's a choice you have to make then, not now.

sins are squishy ... and they are a ninja class ... adding vit doesnt make any sence

suravability is gained by shards and refine @ endgame
