    Something wrong is with critical hits. How come I can critic witch pitfall for 52K, when normal hit on same mobs is with pitfall is ~12K?

      It can be caused by many reasons:

      - Crit may have been on the higher end of your damage index, and your non-cit on the lower.
      - Maybe your crit was due to a buff or debuff, such as undine or cleric buff that timed out before the non-crit.
      - Special type of mob (increased magic resistance, etc.) maybe not, but maybe
      - Glitch in the system. Something could have caused you to hit 52k crit. :O
      - Genie (extreme poison, etc.)
      - Apothecary (maybe you popped on something and dmg increased due to pot)
      - Sparked damage?
      - Other things I cannot think at the top of my head.

      I usually see that kind of thing from damage amplification.

      Or, possibly, that was a 5.2k critical with something nerfing your damage?

      No guys. It was just normally grinding. Not buffed not use genie nothing just blessing. But normal attack on normal mob was 12K and critical with pitfall was always ~52K few times. b:chuckle and just witch pitfall. All normal spells critics was normal. Maybe is sage pitfall glitched? I keep on eye on it.

      maybe its adding dot damage to the crit o.O
      cause dot itself isnt critical ...or is it?
      broken formula?



      interesting.. time for tests on demon pitfall :o

      It was on mobs Glacial seeds. It look like another mobs are ok.

      Since we're on criticals... I have a question.

      I was doing bh59 for a friend and I 3 sparked on drake, gs/pyro/gs/wopt what have you, and on my 2nd or 3rd gush I hit a crit of 4k. Has this happened to anyone before? Is it a fluke, or what?

      dont have nothing wrong with sage pitfall (anywya i use crown and pitfall sometimes and never noticed this exclude normal pitfall vs sparked pitfall crit xD)

      I believe an archer had a very similar situation, must be either a glitch in damage displayed or worse, a total glitch in game mechanics.

      After all, they must **** up things in patches that they shouldn't touch, you know.

      Common mistake is that people take critical as x2. Thats why all yatada yatada curses about BM's lvl 79 skill Dragon Bane unjustified.

      Most ignores fact that Rage Damage is NOT critical but the Spark damage. Now from reading this i forsee many flames about **** noob or whatever . However When i x3 Spark i always get my damage as described in rage percentage 200% always in char status when i check .


      P.S Feel free to flame about what i said and call me whatever names since that will show only your ignorance. Cheers b:kiss

      Are you talking about triple spark?

      You might very well do double damage with triple spark. However the formula is complex and adds 700% weapon damage to base magic attack (that is, all spells except Blade Tempest get 700% extra weapon damage, BT gets %1400 due to double base magic atk inflict), not saying what you saw was wrong (may very well be) but it has nothing to do with Rage Damage.

      Rage Damage is damage when a crit occurs. Why does it exist you say? Obviously the same reason Stealth level exists on everyone and not just fish. Because assassins can make it higher.

      I must to correct my previous statement i admit :

      Fixed version is like this : 200% Rage damage in stats means = usage of 1 spark
      X3 Spark = 600% damage total and not like described in spark skills aka if you open char list while sparks up you will see damage x2 and x3 acordingly in numbers it's looked like that : Regular 4k-6k, Double Spark 8k-12k , Triple 12k-18k (roughly).
      The only thing confuses me though it's that 1 spark has no meaning b:faint

      Rage damage can't be as you claim since : lets say it accures as you say when you crit and multiplies crit by x2 by default. then it doesn't explain how it jumps from 4k-6k in regular(8k-12k crit by common missassumption) to values like 100k and up WITHOUT any outside miltipliers caused by either Genie skills , Items, or Weakness of mob...
