Does the tide form (let's say at it's max level) make a tideborn faster at swimming than other classes? Because I found the Barbarian can also learn increased swimming speed.

I think it should. :D

Tide form when maxed increases swimming speed by 80%. A barb's swimming mastery has only one level and increases swimming speed by 50%.

Tide form is generally considered useless though. You can't use any skills and are limited to using normal attacks with your weapon so psychics won't get any use out of it. Tide form has limited use for sins since our normal hits do a respectable amount of damage but I still consider it a waste of SP and coins to level.

Yeah I noticed it being quite useless in combat but I like how I can move a lot faster in the water. I like a little rolplaying in games and as a Tideborn I love to swim around as a fish. (what do you call a male mermaid? XD)
It's also a nice getaway skill I guess, faster movement and increased defence for those times you underestimated a monster.

On a side note, how do I know how manny soulforce I have, does it mean mana? Or the standard damage your soul sphere does? Because I can't really find it in anny statistics yet the soul of vengeance does damage according to 'soulforce'.

Oh and Aneurysmal what do you mean by your post? I don't know what a Dragon temple Raider is.

Thanks for the help btw. b:pleased

I hadn't even considered that. Is Tide Form really that useful in there?

I guess it could be useful in those situations. I'm too damn stubborn to quit even when I know I'll die though so I've never seen a use for tide form.

Press 'C'. Bottom right, just above Detection Lvl you'll see Soulforce.

Dragon Temple is an instance you can enter once you reach level 60(?). I've only done it once before and I was quickly killed by an angry level 90 player so I'm not too sure what goes on in there. You can get some useful goodies in there from what I hear (well, at least rare veno pet skill scrolls which can sell for several million coins depending on just what it is).

    Merbutler?

    merman :p
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merman

to the OP: consider that at lvl30 you get wings and then walking/swimming is pretty much over
also, water mobs are not that usual.
but if you have extra coins/spirit, use it as you wish of course :)

    Not that simple.

A barb in Tiger form has a 50% speed increase, so a tiger form barb has a 100% speed increase from the base 4.9 running speed when swimming, meaning 9.8.

A Psychic gets the 80% increase to it's initial 4.8 speed, meaning 8.6.

Swim speed isn't based off of run speed just like fly speed isn't.

No point in lvling it, as it limits you to pure phys attacks only. No skills able to be used :/

Would work for a fist BM though <><.....But us humans can't be fishes also..... ><>

    1) Level up to 9
    2) Do your Spiritual Cultivation (Gold Quest)
    3) Ensure you have enough spirit/coin to learn the skill (shouldn't be an issue)
    4) Talk to a psychic trainer and learn it.
    5) Don't post in threads that haven't been posted in for over a month. It's called a necro, and is frowned upon.
