alright look im done with this conversation its a simple mistake that anyone could make put in the same shoes not expecting a **** up. and messures could be taken by the gm's to privent future incidents. this sitution has happened many times in the past to other ppl i know and they did have there orbs returned to them by going threw the ticket system and should of been done for my friend aswell period. this is the facts, it does need to be delt with.

Me pretty sure it has been stated before, tell your friend to go back to the ticketing system.
Explain in detail what happened and hope to get a merciful GM on the other side of the line.
    b:thanks

Don't bother glossing over the story like you has done here, you be giving your description of what happened a rather negative feel against PW.

    In time...
Mayhaps in the distant future, humans go away from this "monies" concept. (or not, mayhaps monies be a good thing. o.O)
    ._.'
The thing is, money is just a virtualized abstraction in itself. It's just something we use to quantify value and desirability. In the old days, people did it with cows or stacks of food. You had a widget I wanted, and I offered to trade 2 cows and 4 sheaves of wheat for it. Then we decided to make gold the universal quantifier. So I would offer 2.8 gold coins for the widget. But the supply of gold wasn't growing as fast as the economy, so people who did nothing but buy gold and locked it away would constantly grow wealthier. They were getting richer by doing nothing. So now we've abstracted it further - I offer $2800 for the widget. And the government tries to keep the number of dollars in the economy balanced with the size of the economy, adding a bit of inflation so if you do nothing, you lose wealth.

So bottom line is, the concept of money will go away when people stop valuing and desiring things/services.

    Me know what monies is.
    x.x'
spent months trying to figure out exactly what it be......(ehh rather hard to research when we has never used any form of it in our entire history.)

What we did (and still do although more effectively now) was forage (or hunt) one's own food/needs.

This is also a simple mistake that your friend could have prevented by simply being more careful.

Being human, of course we make mistakes. While steps could be taken on behalf of the company to ensure mistakes are less likely to happen, just elementary caution would suffice. After being scammed a couple of times, I make sure to double and triple check any transaction I make.

However, I will say this. While I don't think the company is accountable for the loss, I think on goodwill they should reimburse your friend. It's just good for public image, and encourages further investment by players into the game.

This conflict can only be resolved through the ticketing system; I'm afraid it's run its course here.
