Bored, now what?

Hi, i'm not here to ask about gear/stat or else but about the game itself. I'm bored, really bored. Dailyes make u lvl up faster (and that's good in my opinion) but it's always the same routine,everyday...

The game look slow,too slow...i take a lot of time to move from aplace to another (and i have 3,2 wings), even whit a 11m/s mount it look too slow...

Pvp is fun but soon it becomed boring too, at the moment i connect not cuase i want to play, but because "i have to" (dailyes ecc look like a job for me now).

I don't have the will to continue and probably i'll quit and look for another game, but first i would like to know what u find funny and why u still play, maybe i'm missing something.

    At 77 you haven't experienced more than half the game, but if you don't like what there is to do now, that doesn't really change much the higher you get. You'll get your sage/demon culti at 89 which opens up heaven and hell to quest and farm in. There are 4 past maps to unlock. Frost becomes available to you. Later Lunar and Nirvana. At 7x, you haven't even seen the majority of HH instances. If you don't enjoy hanging around and playing with friends, there's not really all that much to do in PW if you mostly play solo.

    If my friends weren't all active and on vent, I probably wouldn't play this game either.

    ^this, even then though for me i still got bored, mainly cos of the basics of what this games engien offers and the lazyness of the devs to invent new things, everything ingame is mainly the same, all dungeons are barb tanks/lures mobs and holds agro while every1 kills quick, bosses barb tanks holds agro and gets pounded till its dead, cleric just spams heals till everything is dead all the time, DDs let there auto attack go, magic users spam random skills.

    dailys do actualy feel like a chore cos there just there to do and give u exp, pvp doesnt realy change in anyway, just ppl get higher, more skills, better gear, and for the poor sods that cant get uber gear have to suffer for gear>skill pvp.

    Same thing, basically. I call it the "moving out" phase --- I "play" AFK most of the time. For PW this means doing the WQ and not much else except maybe on a weekend. I just levelled up, so there's a few quests to kill; current estimate is that it will take around 3 weeks of WQing to get to the next level. Basically, without a Herc there's no dungeons, without dungeons there's no progress (and no Herc), so not much choice :-)

    I tend to be a bit lazy when it comes to finding and prepping another game, that's why the "moving out" can last quite some time. Guide quality has decreased noticeably over the last few years, which doesn't exactly make it easier as well for games where things aren't as obvious as they were with PW.
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

    stuff to do when ur bored:


    - get married 1 or 2 times
    - join the World Chat drama
    - pull bosses in crowded areas (and get banned.. maybe)
    - crawling west arch/ah for things to resell higher
    - have 5 chats the same time
    - reroll another class
    - aoe grind all mob quests of everyone online in your faction
    - join "FBurDrops" chatroom and refuse to join FB51's
    - find out different ways of doing repetitive tasks like bh
    - watch your screenshots, pick the best ones and upload them
    - http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=545752 enjoy this with any kind of move, some odds there
    - get a couple of friends and start a zhen party in west arch, including earth shaking aoe spells for the extra luls -.-
    - kill redname catshops with guards and expel (idk ban...)
    - type "free cookies, pm me" in worldchat
    - 1 shot KunKun "REVENGE!"

    ...

    overall get friends to do stuffs D:

    Target Skydiving:

    Pick a spot which is easy to target on your minimap, fly up to the max height, then try to fall onto the spot without stopping. When you fall while moving, you still move forward, so it makes it a bit challenging.

    Also, you can try going up to the max height, go out to sea and see how close you can get to the water from falling without actually going in it. Extra points if you manage to glitch under the water with your wings.

    Go out,read a book,go pty,go see some movies(no not in front of PC),go on the beach(its summer :D ) and such other boring things,....b:byeb:chuckle

    I've done that. I have also managed to pull off the glitch where one can fly w/o wings.

    what this man is trying to say is...

    1.Your going to do boring dailies all the way to 89(i know im doign this on barb and my cleric and avoiding quest)
    2.The 4 maps to unlock your going to have to be over lvl 90 to get those(good luck it may be in your quest log for a long **** time)
    3.Frost is a good charm burner for your kind and others and becomes a repeated job type bull **** daily and huge repairs.
    4.Lunar is easy on single squad..but to get into the main lunar ya going to have to pay 3 mill..so yo uwill rarely ever see that ever.
    5.The tt(HH..this is internation so keep it international with TT k) instances after gaining tt90 armors/weapon there is really no need to go further because no one gonna give u gold drop on gold armor/weapon materials.
    6.during that process of time you will be spending a butt load in charms and other junk.

    i love how they ay this game is the first ever fully f2p game ever...uhhh lies lol.I played a mmo before this and i made millions off of certain drops never had to cash shop(though the cash shop items i nthat game were not sellable..wich they should do in this game)..

    anyways if ya bored and see a chain of repeat..i would go no further my friend.
