Sable minki?!

Lol so i'm reallllllly new at veno and just had a question or two. This is technically my 2nd veno(first one went to 31 then i stopped pw..but that was like 3 years ago)

I re caught my favorite pet when i made ladybats today..the sable minki. This pet is the only thing i used from lvl 1-31 on my last veno, and well, he served me very well.

My question is can i get away with using this critter past 30(ish)? Crystal magmite(sp) bore me to death and just aren't as cuddly and kick **** as my minkiXD Hes quick(good for pulling) hes pretty duable(tanked fine up to 31 at least) and hes cute as hell! Could i keep him forevah if i just got him flesh ream and other agro holding moves?

    A good venomancer can make pretty much any pet work well, at least for normal grinding and questing. So go ahead and stick with the minkii if you like him.

    The only time you'll really need a different pet is if you're soloing the Twilight Temple later on, because that requires a Hercules.

    Yeah, if you're a good veno, you should be able to make any pet work. You might have a slightly harder time than if you had a Walker, or even a Wolf, but you can make it work.

    Wow, a Minkii. Exact pet I had when I was your level.

    Yes, if you like it, keep it. Nothing wrong with going away from those "trends" and venos having magmites and walkers and hercs. Like everyone said, it is the veno that you look at, not the pet. Having a herc does not mean you're the best.

    I like to think my minki does just as well as a glacial. I did my fb 19 today, cleared the dungeon just by my lonesome, only needed help on the boss ^.^

    You should be just fine with that, as long as you keep 'em leveled he'll be good enough to use.
