Gold Foil

Can anyone tell me what the item Gold Foil is for, i found it in a Narumwood Chest surrounded by Bloodlusted Tulips in Wellspring Village, any help would be appreciated.

    So its not for anything else then, u dont need it for a quest or to make some weapon or armour.

    I've never found a use for it, Always sell it.

    Apparently it was gonna be used for something they were gonna add, but never have....
