question about "charging ZEN" (buying Gold) :)

I posted a question in an old thread of mine, but no one answered it, so I thought I post a new thread
Here's my question ^^;
I found out that I can buy "paysafecards" here (the Netherlands), but I still need to give my adress and everything..
They say: "This is a one-time requirement and will be used to validate your billing information." But why do they need to validate this when i have a prepaid card..?
In short; what do they do exactly with my information? Do they send things to my adress or do they call me or something..? (I just want to know what I'm up against ^^;)
I find it a bit ridiculous though, the example that "LenieClarke - Heavens Tear" gave was what I thought about too:
"(understand, i've never charged zen myself, in any country or currency; i don't know what would be considered normal for the procedure. but i certainly wouldn't bother if the process involved giving anybody my address, either. i can pay for my cell phone without letting my phone carrier know my name or address, so why should a game company have to?)"
Does anyone has experience with this?

zen is PWI's product. if one of the requirements for buying zen was the provision of your first born child and you signed up to that in the TOS - then expect a knock on the door 9 months after you knock up the missus...
but is it PWI or is it paysafe that is asking for the info?.. as far as i recall PWI don't ask for any specifics on your location..[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
hm, when I used paysafe I just inserted the code... so I guess the information are required for the profile in pwi...
well, they didnt contact me anyhow. I guess it is for statistics. or the mailmall delivered the leter somewhere else by mistake xD0 -

I don't exactly get your example on the firstborn.. What does that have to do with this? O.o
And it is PWI that is asking it =\
I used this website..: https://billing.perfectworld.com/

Wait, did you or did you not give information on your home adress? xd
And did you use the same website that I posted here? Or did you use another? If so, can you pass the link xd I really don't want my information given to a game company or something..
Thank you guys for answering though!0 -
I have a question.
What the hell does this have to do with Venomancers?0 -
@Feruta - Heavens Tear
I didn't even notice I posted this under Venomancers, excuse me for that, but you can be less snappy O.o I didn't do it on purpose or anything.
Can a moderator please move my topic to the appropriate board before I get more irritated-sounding posts?0 -

@eavereth
yup, I used the same site.
I dont think that there is any other official site (and I wouldnt trust a unofficial)
you can always give some other address, i doubt that they will check it, expecially since you dont live in the USA. personally I dont really care that some guys across the ocean might get my address xD
about the wrong subforum, I think you will get more answer if you posted it in the general discussion..
but hey, he didnt kill anyone, relax, lol0 -
@ThanosQRt - Dreamweaver
Lol, how do you mean you're carefree xd Nawh, I'm paranoid O.o That's why I don't want to give information xd But that's a good idea! I always can give up a fake adress
Thanks for replying!0 -

If you are talking about the billing profile asked by PWE, this is used for tax purposes and nothing else for the prepaid cards. This is simply so that our company is providing the correct information when we pay the taxes on those transactions. The more accurate the information is, the better for both you and PWE to show that you are a legitimate user and allow us to properly pay our dues.-Your friendly neighborhood Shnuggs-
