Technically, yes. All you need to do is copy the game folder to an external drive (as long as it fits). However, everything that has to do with loading won't be fast I assume. I haven't had the need to play it like that so I can't really tell the difference.

Ok, i went to read about flash drives and found out about the write and read thing, how long will the flash drive die faster if i play it from the flash drive or just using so I could skip the down load and just transfer perfect world to my computer.

b:faint Err well, from the parts that I understood, it should run fine on a flash drive as mine runs off an iPod. You do need a large flash drive for the files. The size of the folder is 6.8 GB. I would go with a 8 or 10 GB flash drive to be safe for future updates.

Why not save the installation files and the patches on a DVD-R?
Even if it would not be the latest patch, updating from there would be as easy as pie.

    Just my two cents.
Maintenance time. Please choose a line:

Installing it onto a Flash USB drive may not be that good of an idea, and may not be fast enough on small and large read and writes, whether slow or fast.

Copying the installer to a Flash drive, and then installing the game onto another person's PC may be more doable over long term and won't wear out your USB drive as fast.

You would want a 8GB drive so that you would be able to fit the game and some manual patches if you so desire.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
